The DigiTech HardWire TR-7: a master of wobble

The HardWire series from DigiTech has a really great reputation, both for the quality of the effects and for the rugged enclosures, knobs and switches.
The TR-7 is their tremolo/rotary/vibe/vibrato pedal, and it's one of the rarest in the range.

Looking for a Mint or New version of this Tremolo and the matching Chorus and I'll have everything but the tuners and the ever-elusive Supernatural. Can't wait! This is one of the most under-rated sets of pedals in decades. Thanks for the demo!

You have to find the chorus. I'm not a big fan of chorus usually, but the Hardwire chorus is really nice and super versatile. I love mine. Best of luck to you. Edit: Heads up, there's one on eBay for a pretty good price, in good shape too.

I had this pedal, but ultimately decided I couldn't make it work for my purposes (too much to go into here). But I recall being really impressed by the pedal's phase shifter, a function that was never even advertised as a feature!

Yeah, I couldn't get on with it either. Only because of the lack of a volume knob to make the tremolo heard in a band mix. Other than that, it's a great pedal!

@@PedalExperiments Mainly, for me, it was the rotary speaker being too dark and quiet. I bought it for the rotary, having never been a big tremolo person. The Univibe setting, too, was just okay. Nothing to write home about.

Yeah, I agree. The overall output could definitely benefit from being louder. Or, you know, just put a damn volume knob on the thing! Ha ha

The "Bias" type is in Fenders Smaller than Deluxe Reverb.

..the only problem ...only one preset without bending down and readjusting in a live setting ... compared to the Line six MM4.....where there's 4 at the tap of the toe ....still , I really like Hardwire products ...

Oh yeah, I agree. That's the main downside with pedals that do a lot of stuff like this, but don't have a way of storing your favourite sounds.
