What chord progressions to play on diminished scale. Eg in C major we play the following chord progressions for every note. Like C major, D minor, E minor F major, G major A minor and B diminished and C major. So for B diminished scale notes what chords to play.

B diminished scale... b, c#, d, e, etc.. of all the chords you listed, the diatonic triads of the c major scale, the diminished scale only works with the V7 - the G7 chord, and VII chord if it is a fully diminished 7th or the triad.

Usifo Barnabas I don't have time to figure out what I played with the big band but..... mostly I play open voicings or rootless voicings with upper structure triads. Chord voicing is a deep subject that I will get into in future videos. Thanks!

yeah it's cool to notice that the c 7 b9 is b9 3 5 b7 is db e g a bb uses the same notes as a eb7b9.whose notes are again same above pattern and notes be g bb db . noticed this one day.. this also the same as as a gb7 b9..whose notes are g bb db e . lastly a7b9 whose notes are bb c# e and g. I'm texting and afk.. but I think I have it right..
