Indeed, final level is always a castle. I would assume the idea is that since Peach has been kidnapped, the final level is the castle that you rescue her from (or get informed by a Toad that she's in another castle in the case of Easy mode)

That menu theme music at the end when you were checking clear rates hit me with a ton of nostalgia. I discovered your channel years and years ago and it inspired me back then to get back into mario maker and for awhile I considered it my main game. I had so much fun with this game and beat tons of levels and shared my levels with so many people. So thank you Ryu for keeping this game alive with your videos. Despite completely understanding it’s flaws, I have to admit I will always have a place in my heart for the Wii U. I just had so much fun with that thing.

At the cost of what? 100 man is like playing noral or expert in mm2. Also little variety, the same levels every episode. Same set ups. Enemy garbage spam and so on. I rather see s mode you sre gonna lose and have s lot of variety than the same boring stuff

I would rather compare it to playing either super mario bros or super mario world. Super mario world is more beautiful and advanced than super mario bros but both have their own charm and fans. True there is more garbage in MM1 thanks to the like/dislike system in MM2 - but watching Ryu fight his way through garbage is more fun and funny to me than watching well curated levels and I know there are many people that think like me. And many others that don't care if it's MM1 or MM2 or can't even see the difference. It's just a matter of taste. @@Yokai_Yuri

Personally, I trusted the mushroom the whole time. Level didn't feel trolly. But I still wouldn't have gone for it because of that spikes and saws section immediately after. Keeping the mushroom would be so hard as to not even be worth it. On the other hand, you did keep a different shroom through a similar spike diagonal, so maybe you could've pulled it off. But then you get a better power up immediately after so... still not worth it?

I have been watching Ryu for a very long time now, and the one consistent thing that has plagued me with his playstyle is the absolute detrimental extremes he will go to in order to avoid playing the level as intended. It's like the concept of playing the level as intended has the same negetive connotation as dying during said level, and he will throw an exorbitant amount of time and lives at improbable routes and strategies as long as it was clearly not intended by the level creator. It is the one thing I will have to close a video and avoid watching if it's egregious enough, and this one gets extremely close to that threshold.

100-man has like no variety. It's like the same-ish levels every episode. The only glorified thing is that you win after 6 levels, but the difficulty is equivalent to normal or expert in SMM2.
