He was the only one who actually knew what notes are. Personally, I never thought Nikki's lyrics were that good and very suspicious that it's actually him playing bass on the albums, or if they hired a session guy who actually knew how to tune his instrument, and wasn't nodding out on heroin every 5 seconds. Or just had Mick play Nikki's bass lines. The way those guys used to party, makes you wonder how they ever wrote songs or made recordings, or got anything done. Must have been some good coke is all I can say.
