It's not a tabu subject...her mother is aware that there are limitless trolls online, so the rest of us can help her to understand It's ok. She interprets some things with more difficulty than others. So many have dealt with it without assistance, but it's great that it is identifiable early. It's OK.

I have dyslexia and so does my daughter. ❤. Not embarrassed or ashamed at all. Taught me how to think creatively and teach my daughter, who now works with children with special needs. Dyslexia is not a medical illness, nor does it have to do with intelligence. Good for North for feeling confident and not worrying about anyone judging her. She has peers and I’m sure fans who look up to her and she said what she wanted with zero concerns! She isn’t embarrassed, why is her mother?

This is true, however, dyslexia is not a medical problem. I hv dyslexia both with letters and numbers. I sometimes reverse letters. Sometimes numbers out of order, or read a sentence out on order, also sometimes misinterpret the meaning of a sentence and need to reread several times. It’s taught me to trouble shoot and come up with creative ways in problem solving. I do understand your point, being, everyone has something and there is no shame in that. ❤

Me too, wish I knew 3 months before exams. School was so hard for me, I had teachers call me stupid. I'm only 32. They should have known better. It took a dyslexic teacher to call my parents in and get the test. She's so fortunate to know so young.
@macywood46198 ай бұрын
Them teachers were the ones that was stupid if they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. You’re smart and intelligent and don’t let no one tell you otherwise.
@Dyane6297 ай бұрын
As a former teacher I’m sorry you had that experience with bad teachers. They’re definitely out there. While in school & in training teachers generally won’t receive the proper education to diagnose dyslexia unless they go into special education. A good teacher will see the signs there’s possibly something wrong. But that’s still no excuse to call you stupid. I’ve worked with both special needs children & adults and they were the best experiences of my life. I’m glad you were tested and now you’re able to recognize areas where you struggle. Dyslexia is challenging but nothing to be ashamed of. Good luck!☺️

Nah you're 100% on point - my dad and best friend have it, both are borderline genius but due to not "fitting in" or getting bad grades because of their dyslexia - they begin to believe they are much less smarter than are My father is one of the smartest people I know.... but he can't accept that not even as a compliment - which makes it obvious that he's somewhat ashamed about it probably because of school and stuff/bad experiences But the real problem, since he has so much discipline, intuition and amazing skills with 90% of things he does (long ass list of shit I won't type it out) However because of his dyslexia, he feels he "couldn't" or "isn't capable" of reaching bigger goals, and he has hardly tried to get to the next level in his career or another one ever since he got his first job 25 years ago But if he did start a business in his field, and I'm not saying this because he's my father - we've had ups and downs and used clash a lot before I moved out yet love eachother as much as we should or more💯♥️ Back to the point, not because he's my dad, but he literally could've been a millionair ten times over by now, I just wish I could allow him to see his value😔 My best mate - he is also dyslexic to the same degree, again, he's a genius, not in a remember and write down these questions type of way, he understands the world as a whole better than 99% if people, understands how to read people better than most - he's also very good at making money, he's like if my dad wouldve believed in himself the beginning if he just did that for the last 15-20 years, he'd be ridiculously rich, ofcourse my friend has 35+ years to catch up so it's all good💪🤣
