I remember I used to listen to this song when my mother had cancer. Looking back now, I can see why it was so important to me. Watching her waste away like that was agonizing, and there was nothing I could do about it. I could scream all I wanted, but cries can’t stop an unmovable force. It was if Miku’s fear, confusion, grief and pain was like my own. Even to this day, it’s hard not to listen to this and be taken back to that pain. It’s truly something that lasts forever. Actually it was a song about Miku not being popular anymore when she first came out and people like the one who made Akita Neru were slandering her, the vocaloid producer of this song felt his works meant nothing and he felt saddened (“master I don’t want to see you sad anymore”), so he wrote this to be his final song….
