Great content. I put 18 thousand miles on my 2022 392 and I have zero complaints. I recently traded it in for the 2024 392 with side impact air bags. Best jeep decision. The power seats are very comfortable. However, I decided to add the level-2 AEV edition package. The ride quality is a game changer. Bumps and lumps are no longer an issue. It's like driving an escalade. You may have to add steps for your family, however.

Talk about reliability....my 13 Tacoma had 170 000 kms or 106 000 miles and only had one real repair...front wheel bearing and hub. I did change the rear springs. Towing a lot came into play. Your Jeep with 10 000 miles, that barely broken in. See how it is after 100 000 miles.

My only complaint is the drivers seat comfort is not as good as the JK, OR the cloth of the other JL’S. With the exhaust closed , driving under 70mph which is very tough I know. It’ll do 18mpg.

My 22 Rubicon JLU has had fewer issues than most of my new cars in the past. Manual transmission was lightly grinding going into second so I changed the fluid with full synthetic and made sure it was topped off... that resolved that. Otherwise no complaints... as long as you don't mind the bumpy ride and less refined nature of the vehicle... it's the worlds best convertible and most capable 4X4.

10000 miles is still virtually brand new, soo it’s probably a little early to be judging reliability. But it looks to be a good daily , maybe just tad loud in the exhaust department for some tastes , sounds good though. Not a lot head room in there it seems , just an observation, the steering not being pin sharp …. I like it , a lot of modern cars are so pin sharp, if you move the wheel even a hair your heading off the road , which means you have to be on the ball and driving the bastards all the time which becomes fatiguing after a while. The power steer getting hot when your working the shit out of it in 4wd conditions is probably not unexpected, and the bigger tyres add extra load to the power steering so , there is that. It looks pretty good mate . A lot of new cars are no more than mobile phones on wheels ( white goods) , especially some shit box EVs . I like your old school style jeep mate.

Yes, the 392 is fun to drive. I have never driven one but I had a '68 Roadrunner with the 383 HP engine. It was fun. It had power. It was fast. And it sounded really great when the 4 barrel carburetor kicked in (You may not even know what that is). But it was cheap back then. Today, I have a 2021 JLU Sport with the EcoDiesel engine. I love it. It has 53,000 miles on it and have had no issues. It can't do what a 392 can do but the fuel economy is way better. I average 22 over the course of a year with city, off road, and highway driving. While drive 40 mph on a level road like you were doing, I would be showing 30 mpg not 16. Also, it has plenty of torque and can crawl off road with the best. I don't have lockers but for most people they aren't necessary. The best part is my total cost of purchase was $42,000 plus taxes. I added a 2 1/2 inch lift and 33 inch tires. I am in it for less than $50,000. Yours is way cooler and sounds way better but for the price I will take the EcoDiesel.

I've got 2018 2.2 diesel European version. The main issue was computer. It was not sealed property from the factory and Jeep just stopped. I was lucky because my friend is a mechanic, so he disassembled and resealed it. Otherwise it would set me back at least 4K for the new one. Another issue was a screw in a wire (factory fault) to subwoofer, so occasionally it was like a short circuit, had to change. Do get mudflaps, otherwise the front door handles, especially on a passenger side will refuse to open and close.

This guy cracks me up. 10 k miles that his wife drove as a daily driver. He is giving the review. At 5k a year and his wife using it as a daily driver I have to wonder how much seat time he has. I have a 2.0 turbo and i'm in an off road club. I have gone out with people who have a 392 they used 2 times as much gas as me on the trail. I'm at 3/4 tank they are at 1/2. I'm at 1/2 a tank they need to stop and get gas. Not really a big deal range was ok. we all fill up before hitting the trail. We do the trails then they go fill up again. Thing is using 2 times more gas is not about the same amount of gas. I was really looking at them. After hitting the trails with them i'm worried about the longer trails where I get down to 1/4 tank of gas. Range means a lot and don't want to have to carry 10 gals more fuel with me.

My 2012 Rubicon 2 dr 6 speed. @18K had that check engine light for the head machining issue that they were aware of so fixed and got the extended 10 yr complimentary warranty. But the dealership that fixed it in LA created a coolant leak AND introduced a really annoying buzzing rattle in the dash that has been there ever since. They of course denied anything, but seeing they caused a coolant leak... Fast forward, needed a new thermostat at about 70K miles. Needed a new starter motor at about $80K miles. Needed a new clutch at about 85K miles - the shop said the plates were fine and could have gone another 50k miles but the throw out bearing had failed. Oh yeah, the radio failed at about 80K miles too - see a pattern here? Stuff designed to only fail outside warranty... so no AM/FM but the satellite radio still works. To replace the radio you would need to take the whole dash apart and I don't trust someone to do that w/o breaking something else so I just let it be, and listen to satellite radio. Absolutely love my Jeep, lots of adventures and memories and looking forward to plenty more.
