Yes, when I was practicing yoga, I was incredibly lethargic, not practicing my faith, and I was disassociated from God and the world. I was leading a sinful life, but Our blessed mother has saved me and brought me back to her son and our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ safely and now I'm stronger than ever in my catholic faian. Praise be to God, who has and is using to me to bring others to Him and the Catholic Church too. Thank you, fr. Martin's for all you do, may God Bless you and may our lady cover you with her mantle and the precious blood of Jesus christ, protect you and keep you safe from harm.

Thank you Father for sharing this, I used to practice Yoga moves, I had several experiences where I was mean, easily angered, lethargic, anxious, heaviness, and had to receive psychiatric treatment for depression. I was so wrong, returned back to our Catholic Faith, prayed, returned to attending Mass Services, and STOPPED practicing YOGA and AMEN, I started to heal. I could feel a greater light, felt a freedom! While practicing YOGA, I had so many problems in our marriage, I myself became so easily angered, did not love my husband (at the time), and didn't know the practice of YOGA had such a detriment on my marriage and life. Back then, I did not know that it was opening a door to allow these types of spirits to enter. Hearing what Father Carlos and the team has shed light and an understanding the source of this evil. Thank you Father Carlos, his team, and Thank you Almighty God!!! I walked away, closed the door, confessed my sins, and never looked back. No longer have the desire to go anywhere near YOGA practice. Amen!

Yes, I love this show. I got to see Father Martin last month when he came to Oregon for the Saint Jude relic tour. I was only able to say thank you to him as I could tell he was afraid I wanted to talk his ear off. I only wanted to say to him that his ministry has helped to change my outlook on my faith and strengthened me in so many ways. I could tell he was very tired and worn out. I prayed for him and continued to pray for him. I wish I could meet him in person and have a conversation. I bet he is a wonderful man to talk to. I look forward to every episode and share it with everyone I know. God Bless all of you. Thank you, Thank you a million times.

I greatly appreciate the focus on grace and healing. Ryan is a good interviewer because he listens and thinks carefully. Even when he "pushes back," or challenges a point, he's always focused on the point and not on the person, and he's also not looking to "gotcha" those who adhere to different branches of the Christian Faith. As an Indian was introduced in my early training days we had compulsory yoga training once a week being a practicing catholic it slowly led me to transidendal meditation astrology palmistry though I was a practicing catholic it was 20 years later during a retreat got liberated by the mercy of Jesus away from it since then

Very sad that any so called Christian theological expert defends the followers of Christ staying clear of yoga, our Eastern Orthodox tradition instructs us to keep away from yoga. Recent Saints in the Orthodox Church like Saint Paisios of Mt Athos have very enlightening books on their first hand encounters with the demonic reality of yoga so it’s no surprise that Fr Carlos is experiencing “pushback” from our delusional society. Keep up the good fight Fr Carlos.

I appreciated the distinction made between the Ignatian notion of discernment of spirits versus the charismatic gift of discernment of spirits. I have found the latter of much benefit in our deliverance ministry. Precious little seems to be written on the charism, while Ignatian discernment of spirits as a means for spiritual direction has been written on by a plethora of authors.

They can't be held culpable for the wrong they commit because they don't have the reasoning ability. We might have to define "sin" more strictly here to make it more clear. We need to define "mentally disabled" more strictly, as well, because there are so many conditions, and a range of intellectual and reasoning abilities. My degree is in Special Education, which covers the gamut of conditions and capabilities. Suffice to say that the individuals who have the least ability to reason can and do commit acts that are wrong, as do all young children. It's wrong to hit someone who takes your toy, but you have to truly be able to reason why it's wrong in order to be held accountable. But it's still wrong.

Here’s one thing that really bothers me and doesn’t make any sense. Why if someone has a mental health condition are they automatically written off and there’s no chance for demonic activity? This doesn’t fit with what we know to be the nature of a demon. If they truly are predators, why would they leave the weak alone and not seek to destroy them like any other person? They do not have mercy on any humans. A lion does not pass on an animal with a broken leg. I feel that people with mental health conditions are being left to fend for themselves against the wolves and it doesn’t make sense to me.

In Season 1 and 2 Father Carlos Martins states that mental illness does not preclude demonic influence and that the devil does take advantage of distortions of reality visa vi mental illness and or trauma.

I understand why it’s sticky territory when someone has a diagnosed mental illness and that in most cases it would be hard to separate what is the mental illness vs demonic influences. And I am speaking from a place of personal experience and it was highly frustrating when my words were not taken seriously or when I would show people bruises and scratches on my body that I could not possibly do and I was dismissed because I was “crazy”.
