The Diamond was to be gifted to Edward VII. It then ended up being split into many diamonds in the Netherlands by The Asschers jewellers, the jewllers kept a lot of It as payment, and Edward VII bought one for queen Alexandra, and south Africa bought some and gifted to king Edward VII. so instead of blaming everything on the British, ask Africa why they would gift the diamond to kind Edward after getting most of it back 🤔 now moaning yet again about the diamond now the Queen as passed 🤔its getting a tad bit boring now.
