When the books are incorporated, it becomes even darker because of the Remnant that powers the animatronics is mainly being based off of pure agony.

Okay. The Springlock suits also had an animatronic mode. These parts could be mostly removed and pulled back to function as mascot suits, but that also made them incredibly dangerous. Compared to what we see later in the series, they were actually quite rudimentary. Mike, as a dumb teen, teases his brother for his fear of the animatronics (a fear likely inspired by seeing someone put on a suit, and misinterpreting it as them being eaten or something) and finally puts his head into the moving mouth of Fred Bear in animatronic mode. Bite of 83. William (known as the Purple Guy because his Atari style sprite is colored purple) is distraught, because Henry's product (as the major engineer of the two) caused his son's death. He misplaced the blame. Sometime later, the original location is shut down and the second location opens. Henry constructs the Puppet/Marionette (likely without William's influence, as the visuals of the Puppet lack much of Will's design philosophy) to basically be a themed security guard that would keep the kids safe. William, potentially after a night of drinking, spots Henry's daughter Charlotte locked outside and kills her in an act of revenge. This is _probably_ the start of his spiral. The details of her death are speculated, but unknown, and life goes on. William uses his own engineering prowess to design new animatronics to be rented out for parties, because after his killing spree started he noticed that the animatronics he hid the bodies in started taking on life of their own (as in, the spirits within granted life to the personalities assigned to the robots, instead of keeping their own). He hoped to capture and kill children to study this phenomenon, in the efforts to fulfill his promise of putting his son "back together." This, for a time, is his _primary_ motivation, but it should be remembered that he's still a serial killer that grew to enjoy the feeling of torment. At one event, the animatronic Circus Baby was performing for a room full of children. William, knowing how dangerous his machines were and wary of losing another child, repeatedly warned his daughter Elizabeth away from Baby. Elizabeth, however, loved baby so much that she stayed in the same room whenever the other children came and went, and when she was the only one left in the room, she approached Baby. Baby's programming kicked in, because they were alone, and an arm meant for containment shot out of her torso and killed Elizabeth, trapping her body inside. The only one that knew what happened was William, and in his grief, he shut down most operations of the company, decommissioning Circus Baby after her first and only time on-stage. But, of course, Elizabeth's spirit gave new life to Baby, and we see that this new consciousness still sees William as her father, even with Baby's personality. Some time later, it's unknown how long, William realizes that Baby still has Elizabeth's spirit inside, and directs his eldest son Mike (now an adult, and harboring guilt for what he did to his brother) to go and free Elizabeth from Baby's shell while William himself would go to dismantle the original animatronics that he stuffed his first round of victims into. Mike, who looks like his father, takes the role of a nighttime security guard and maintenance man, and tries to get into position to do something with Baby, all the while she and the other animatronics in the bunker (who may or may not have been possessed, but we're likely just comprised of living metal (an alloy made by melting down possessed metal, it's a can of worms by itself)) were trying to lure his still living body into the scooping room. This is just to get his preserved body in place so they could reject their casings, come together, and take over Mike's skin. They leave the facility, because under the cameras, they now look like Mike, and try to lead an inconspicuous life in his place. This only lasts until his body begins to rot, however, and his skin literally turns purple. After his body is useless to them, they evacuate and allow it to crumple to the ground. They then watch from the sewers as, to their surprise, Mike's spirit returns to his now empty body and reanimates it by sheer force of will. Mike resolves to go find his father and right the wrongs, burning down every Freddy's location he can in the hopes that fire will release the spirits trapped in the various suits. He continues his existence as a purple cyborg zombie. In the meantime, William is back in the second location dismantling the animatronics, hoping to take their possessed metal back and study it. Perhaps this study could produce a way to bring his children back. However, after all the animatronics are dismantled, the spirits within reawaken and manifest as ghosts that scare William into the back room where his old Springlock Bonnie suit is. The same suit he used to lure children and kill them. He puts on the suit in an effort to find comfort and confidence, but the leaky ceiling sets of the locks which spear through William, trapping him in the suit and killing him in a form of poetic justice. The spirits of the children, or most of them, move on, finding peace in his death. Or, so you might think. Because much like his son, William's spirit possessed his dead body and the incorporated animatronic parts, surviving in the boarded up back room for decades, rotting and becoming the monster known as Springtrap. The rest of the details were _more or less_ accurate to what we know for certain. Also I've been typing for a long time and don't feel like doing this anymore.

I absolutely adore the setup of this new series. You would think that the same two guys opening animatronic food joints every few years, which then have very suspicious disappearances are outbreaks of fire, would be enough to raise an eyebrow. But seemingly from this research, it is all happenjng in the same town. Are the inhabitants of this town constantly high as kites or something?
@DTux52497 ай бұрын
Funny purple man going over less-than-funny purple guy? Hey, I'm for it. Also, the old/new money showing the Canadian $2 bill killed me XD. Minor Bits for Context: 16:15 - The games actually made a point of Afton telling his daughter not to go near them. Problem: Children are stupid. His daughter snuck to see Baby, and got killed. 17:58 - It's generally assumed that Mike went out on his own to find his dad, discovering dad's secret lab facility in the process. Once he finds his "sister", he's backstabbed by her. Ennard scoops his innards out, can escape the facility using his meat suit as a disguise. Since the scooper is also a remnant injector (how Aftons been making the machines) Michael became immortal. Once Ennard left Mikes body, he was basically an immortal corpse filled with nothing but enmity for his father. Michael then goes on to try and exact revenge on Daddy for killing both of his siblings and then some. 20:28 - Yes and no. There are 2 "purple guys" in the series. Normally, it refers to Afton, as the games depicted him as an 8-bit shadowy figure (purple). But the games often also showed Mike, a literal purple rotting corpse, in 8-bit to act as a red herring. TLDR: Afton is Purple Guy, Mike is just a purple dude. 21:28 - This event on the timeline is a bit weird. Some people (The Game Theorists in particular) date it as taking place BEFORE Mike found that facility; framing it as Afton dismantling the animatronics to retrieve more remnant from their Exo-skeletons. Mike would then look for his father, discovering the hidden facility, and learning about what actually happened. Loved the video! Nice intro to the series and love the format.

I think I have an origin of how the animatronics came to be, at least for FNAF 1 appearance-wise: The amusement park Delos files for bankruptcy after the horrors of 1973, resulting in many android "blanks" thrown into dumping grounds somewhere in the middle of Utah. Come the date of December 8th, 1989, a puppet-based variety theater show in New Zealand, Meet the Feebles, ends in utter death by the hands of an iconic cast member gone berserk, the corpses of the fallen taken away in the aftermath to parts unknown. Fast forward to the time when Will Afton and Henry Emily decide to enact their goal of establishing a pizzeria, with animatronics included. From a source unknown, they come across a shipping container buried 15 feet deep, filled with what look like endoskeletons, dated from the early 70s. After some trial and error with glitches and such, the endoskeletons are ready for their outer coverings. The problem? Neither man was skilled in making textiles. So, traveled they went to an undisclosed black market off the coast of Australia, stumbling across several bullet ridden pelts that, despite their condition, were seemingly repaired with some great effort. The two men, not hesitating any longer, decide to purchase the pelts, and finally began to modify them to be worn by the now-ready endoskeletons. Everything else afterwards is history.* *I really have no clue if FNAF, Westworld and Meet the Feebles are in the same universe to make this theory work, But Kabhaal, this timeline essay is a chef's kiss!!!

I don't blame ghosty not remembering everything in sequence when the series was made intentionally,y incomprehensible on purpose to fuel the industrial lore complex. People can't even agree on when and how Retcons occurred, much less how and why some books or films could be "canon" and others now aren't. And lets not forget the 10 years of outdated speculation still percolating and creating ad revue.

Oooh yeah!
@nhooj88827 ай бұрын
Yeah I mean, it's not the most coherent or probable series of events, this script, but the "most correct" version of events really isn't any less nonsensical most of the time. The biggest difference is I think that the intentionally murderous robots and murder didn't happen until after Evan died, killed accidentally by HENRY'S robot malfunctioning. This is why Afton kills Charlie, for revenge. Everything escalates from there when he discovers... idk, like the "dark magic stuff" with the puppet being possessed by Charlie's spirit.
