It is well known by now about GM Christopher Yoo (USA) felt disrespected by GM Hans Niemann (USA) at the last US Championship 2022. They have lots of games against each other online. However, the number of rated games they have played are only three - all of them were Classical. Niemann won two and Yoo has won one. What happens when they face each other at the World Rapid 2022? Check out this explosive battle arising out of QGD Exchange variation featuring a trendy line. Also don't miss the King down resignation at the end. Are you aware of this archaic way of resignation?

At 4:32 Hans played bd3 instead of ng5. And Yoo was letting him. The Eval bar did not flinch. What's wrong with ng5? Was the idea to snap the pawn (he did later on) only after development?
@nazmigashi9348

Probably because of that Queen Check on g3. That would mean "destroying whites castling" or exchanging queens if white would put his queen in f2 to block check. Perhaps that would make the drawing chances higher for black. Black had a very open king, and its defense would be much easier if white would lose castling rights or after a queen exchange.

11:05 Black playing Qg3 cost him the game. I just couldn't see his point placing the queen there.

Hans totally picked Yoo apart here like a chicken bucket. Your Queen standing next to my king don’t scare me! Really nice disdain followed by flawless attacking from Hans

Looks like Hans disrespected Christopher on so many levels all over the board. The disrespect speaks for itself.
Final muy inesperado 😨
