I stay away from pvp at this point because of hackers, but I can imagine someone using cheats to take down other cheaters or just compete at this point with them, or the sweats. Although I would never, I wouldn't even want to put the effort into learning and being a scumbag. Pvp is going to die down at this rate, unless they innovate the anticheat systems.

The cheats now are nothing compared to back then. Getting into a game where you die to someone with aimbot sucks but you leave and move on, back then they’d keep you in the lobby not allowing you to leave and reset stats, constantly kill you, and spam messages on your screen, and then either the lobby closed or you closed the game just to leave. Not to mention the constant ddos attacks or booting offline that happened constantly.

@@tdawgsmitty yes, sniper spin bots, they've been around for a few years now, and since VAC is way too outdated to detect the cheats, we just kick them, or use damage reducing weapons to fight back. From what I've heard though, someone has been working on a system to auto vote bots out, and they have a database of known cheaters

Actually back in bo2 the most common forms of cheating were jitter mods to shoot semi automatic weapons faster, paradox mod menus,(paradox made you be able to mod without a jailbroken console) and jiggy mod menus which allowed cheaters to give their friends in the lobby or randoms mods as well

The only way i see cheating on games stop is that, a law changes where if a company is giving cheats, it makes it ilegal and all people involve have jail and need to pay compensation. About the players, perma ban on the platform + they also face maybe legal consequences and more but they can avoid that by giving the name and more details of the people who provide the cheats.

At this point, I am almost completely convinced that Activision knows who the cheaters are but refuses to do anything about it. There are way too many delusional people who watch streamers (who are cheating) and think that they could be as good as them. They watch for hours to try and learn, play the game, get annihilated by hackers, delude themselves into thinking that they're just not putting in the hours, then the cycle continues. Say what you want about games like Fortnite, but I have been playing that game since 2018 and not once have I come across a hacker. Over the years, I have improved significantly and can comfortably win a lot of games. On Warzone, no matter how much I improve, I can't do anything against wallies and aimbotters. How am I expected to win a fight when the enemy is locking onto my neck with almost every shot they take? There is at least 1 hacker in every single lobby I get into. This game is pathetic and it blows my mind that people still play it.

I believe a lot of people still use lag switches bc when I play cod in multiplayer every few games I’ll start lagging the same way I would if someone was lag switching. I also have great internet and shouldn’t be lagging whatsoever so when that happens anymore, I just instantly leave the game which everyone who doesn’t cheat should do. I think a decent way to stop cheaters is the second people find out they’re in the lobby, everyone just leave. They’ll stop cheating when it’s not fun for them anymore bc they can’t make it through even one single game without everyone leaving.

At this point call of duty cannot go against the people that created sheets because they are way too big but they could do is go after the people that are buying those cheats and using them. For example, if you get caught using a cheat you should have your IP address get banned from ever been able to play call of duty and if you get caught us hack or cheat you should have to pay a fine. Make it so that even if it’s very easy to get cheats may not be worth the end because you’re probably gonna end up losing more than just your account or your ability to play. and when this happens, then those hack companies will go out of business
