These poor kids are going to have a shit ton of anxiety and other mental illnesses when they become older. They have had a camera and thousands, even millions of internet strangers from all over the world, watching them for the majority of their vital years of growing. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if they would suffer from anxiety and paranoia of people constantly watching them.

Sadly, if kids have even the minimal amount of clothing, food, and housing, then cps doesn't give a shit until someone becomes extremely hurt, like taken to the hospital, or something abusive becomes public.. even then it's a shoot in the dark and they may not step in to help

Most definitely not food because food is a necessity. Not a room because they need a place to rest & or sleep which is also a necessity. But privacy, privacy is not a necessity but a luxury and is earned with children. I have to be able to trust my child for them to have privacy! And no I’m not talking about bathroom privacy that of which is completely different!
@ISEEKSPACE
@ISEEKSPACE 8 ай бұрын
@@coffeecrimegal5968 I think privacy is a necessity for a kid. Especially if they're learning to ask for what they need and a little privacy is not the end of the world. Imagine being a child having to share a classroom with 20 kids a day for 8 hours straight, 5 days a week, then come home and have to share family time, then go to their bedroom that they also share with a sibling. If my kid comes to me and says can I be in my room for a little while, I'm gonna read or draw or watch tv that should be okay. The door, however, cannot be locked. They're expressing to me they need their time and thats okay. I believe there are healthy forms of privacy a kid should have because dealing with different people, especially siblings all day long, can be a lot. It's also important for their development and boundary setting. It can also teach them that its okay to ask for what they need when they need it and have those needs respected by others. Kids need time to think, they need time to digest the world around them, they're constantly absorbing all kinds of information and attitudes and it can be a lot for a kid. As grown ups we forget that kids need a moment too.

"You have no idea what real abuse is." My abusive parents said that EXACT SAME THING. It's terrifying that abusive people have no idea that they are actually abusive. I was also denied food as a child, had black pepper put in my mouth, was locked in the basement with the lights off, beaten with a metal spoon, had my mouth duct taped shut, had a diaper duct taped onto me when I accidentally wet the bet at age 7, was dragged out of bed by my ankle down a flight of stairs for leaving a cup in the sink before bed, had electronics taken away that I paid for with my own money, had to buy my own food and clothes at age 11 (also had to work at that age to buy those things), etc.. My head and ears were beat so often that I would get headaches and hear ringing for days. That doesn't even cover the emotional, spiritual, and religious abuse that I endured. If I ever complained about their treatment, I was told that I had no idea what real abuse was and that if I ever said anything to anyone, I would be sent to a juvenile detention center and then to jail. It was a horrible time growing up. I am so glad that I am an adult now. My heart aches for these children, because I know that they will have permeant scars from this forever. I was diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety when I was 22 years old. I still struggle with my mental health, 10 years later. Although I am free now, my childhood still haunts me. Stories like this bring back all the bad memories.

Apparently I cried for the 1st 3 months of my life, I was a tiny baby at birth. My parents could very well have mistreated me since they must have been exhausted and felt they helpless. But no, they nurtured and cared for me. I never got a spanking that I can remember. I am so grateful to have has such parents. I think I would have withered away if I has been beaten and treated as you were. You must be such a strong person!!! My heart breaks for you and I admire you, you are so brave!. My mom raised me like this woman did only my brothers could do what they like while I had to be a "lady" and clean up after them. Food was taken away from me a lot. She would take me out of school and make me go shopping and I was not allowed to eat until the shopping was done (usually 9pm at night) because she said I would look bloated in the clothing if I did. I had a stroke two years ago at 24 doctors think it was due to stress. Thankfully I am married and live no where near my mom now. When I lost a large portion of my vision from the stroke and started using a white cane she decided she was too embarrassed to be around me now and hasn't seen me. It's going to be funny when karma bites her in the butt at a nursing home where they will abuse her for a change.

Arrested - FINALLY! A "privledge" to eat dinner? It is your legal responsibility, let alone a moral one that should be inherent in any parent. Parents are legally required to support their minor children. When a child is born, their birth certificate names their parents. This marks the beginning of parental responsibility. Parents have to take care of their child's welfare and needs. Supporting your children includes providing food, clothing, shelter, basic care, education, and medical care. Failing to provide for your children can lead to neglect or abuse charges in most states. Parents must ensure their child's physical safety and emotional well-being.

If my kid forgets his lunch, i bring it to school because everyone forgets things. It’s not a moral failing. @Diggidydave13 it's a bit more complicated than that. The father was complicit in this, as per this video. The family courts award custody to mothers, yes out of the assumption that they are better care givers (and thats not just the courts, society, too, hence all of this "women should be home makers" trad attitudes- and *that* attitude most often comes from men themselves.) But mainly that is due to the fact that if they ask the kids if they want to live with mum or dad, they choose mum 9 times out of ten. Interestingly, Female judges are shown to be harder on women, in all courts but are particularly harder on them and fairer in family courts, presumably because the fluttering eyelashes that work on old dude judges doesn't fly.

It made me sick to my stomach when the little girl thought she had to try on the bras on camera. And then when she found out she didn’t have to she wrapped her sweater and arms around herself like she was trying to protect herself. Occasionally, as a 22 year old, if work gets busy my mom still will help me get a lunch together so I can get out the door faster in the morning. She only has one less child than Ruby. She does this because she cares about my success and mental wellbeing. Even now that I'm an adult. As a little kid in school I would forget my lunch loads of times and she always brought it for me, because she cared about my physical wellbeing as an 8 year old. Some moms can't prepare lunches because of a workload, or can't bring a forgotten lunch to a school because they have to work. This does not apply to Ruby. She has the resources to give her kids a quality upbringing, and she chooses not to.
