Question for everyone: If Ferdinand Porsche hadn't worked with Hitler, do you think Porsche would still be the luxury brand it is today? The connection helped create the Volkswagen Beetle, which later funded Porsche's success... but at what cost? What surprised YOU the most about Porsche's history? Let me know in the comments below! 👇🤔

The electric car in 1898 completely blew my mind! Never knew Porsche was pioneering EVs over 120 years ago. History is wild! 🤯"

Probably not. The Volkswagen connection gave them both funding and manufacturing experience. But man, what a price to pay for success...

Honestly, I don't think Porsche would exist today without that connection. The Beetle's success literally funded the first Porsche sports cars. It's disturbing but true - sometimes great things come from dark beginnings.

The prison part shocked me most. Imagine going from prison to creating one of the most prestigious car brands! Really shows how Ferry Porsche turned things around.

You pronounce the last name of Ferdinand Porsche correclty, but refuse to pronounce Porsche correctly when referring to the car. Why, Why

Thanks for bringing this up! You make a great observation. While 'Porsch-uh' is indeed the correct German pronunciation, I deliberately used the more common English pronunciation 'Porsch' when referring to the car brand because it's how most English speakers know it, and I wanted to maintain clarity for the wider audience. Fun fact: Even Porsche dealerships in English-speaking countries often use both pronunciations! But you're absolutely right about Ferdinand's name - I wanted to honor his personal name with the correct German pronunciation. Thanks for paying such close attention to detail! It's viewers like you who help make these documentaries better. 🙏
