I don't see the vong winning at all. They couldn't even deal with the new republic. They even said it in one of their books, they have no problem growing ships and weapons, they were losing to many personnel to man the ships. Palps could go Vitiate and wipe out the galaxy to prevent any other faction from claiming it. Vitiate needed billions of deaths at once and Palps would have that no problem. Scary to think that the Death Star being destroyed when it was is the only way out of hell. I've seen other fics covering this where the galaxy see the vong as liberators against the droids.

Yeah they' might be the weakest faction. However they did wipe out two god like AI species in their own galaxy. I don't think they should be underestimated if they can gain a foothold in thr galaxy.

I wonder how many Star Wars fans realized EA GAMES could have made a Star Wars and Dead Space cross over game and it actually would work and fit into the lore of star wars the Necromorphs and brethren moons could work in a star wars cross over what if Just have Typhojem, the god of the sith ( Big Brother of abeloth and Star Wars version of Cthulhu ), was shattered to pieces, which led to the creation of planets and moons I think you can realize where i'm going with this. Have the Dead Space markers be the Pieces of Typhojem that are trying to unify

Dark Empire now seems less evil of factions if you are human or alien. It seems that darth Vader turning to light side really set things into balance as Anakin fulfilled the chosen one prophecy in legends.

I could see plapatine and IG88 discussing a ceasefire and focusing on abiloth and the vong. And palpatine would wait until the dust settles before breaking the ceasefire as he has seen what caused the downfall of the previous sith empires.

In Legends, IG-88 hijacked the DSII Systems in order to use it to cause a droid takeover in the Galaxy, he didn't really care about the conflict between flesh (that being the Empire and the Alliance) and he fired the weapon a couple times just to give the Imperials the sense of control. He failed when the Alliance destroyed the Station. In a funny note, he was deliberately closing and opening doors to Palpatine

I Interesting what if timeline would be what if yuuzhan vong Invaded during the last year of the clone wars I could definitely see Anakin Becoming a new revan And the order having kind of a split because with the yuuzhan vong And what they do The republic and the jedi are gonna have to do things That break They're morals Padme would not survive the siege of Coruscant. Even if padme had the twins, Anakin couldn't take care of them because of this all-consuming war Not two mention the immense pain in the force and probably having very bad nightmares and some mental problems I believe ahsoka would take care of them, and I could see Luke and leia calling ahsoka their mom ( Just imagine yuuzhan vong A species that can't feel the force But for just a few minutes their whole race Just feels something cold and angry and its Anakin Holding his wife body i tell you Darth Sidious Would be smiling and More should I will fall And more jedi well join the dark side His plans may change But in the end He will rule the galaxy )

The whole thing that made Luke so strong was him choosing the light side. Sure he would have been strong as a sith but it would have just been the same old story as every other sith. Eventually some other random jedi would just get blessed by the force and bring balance. It would have just been a bunch of boring nothing if luke went dark. Another kylo ren 😅
