Love your strategy. I have three dividend accounts. Fidelity, Fidelity Roth, and Robinhood. Will start this month pulling 660 per month from Fidelity to pay into Roth to max out for year. Next month will pull about $654 for all monthly bills. Still building Robinhood account up as eventually being my largest account because of the 5.75% margin. Should hit $3400 in monthly dividends this month. Keep up the great work. You are an inspiration 😊

Wow crazy that I’m watching this today…I did a similar thing with my daughter’s15 bday party…I owe $10k to ballroom and I had the money but decided to buy some of the same ETFs that you have with the money instead of paying the entire balance. I have the year to pay it so here we go 👊🏽

Absolutely fantastic video thank you for breaking down in detail what exactly you’re doing I am on the same strategy road as you are. Please continue to post these things as I am aligning my bills the same as yours on a different note. I just got a big distribution dividend from MSTX I hope you would make a video on it. It was well over $2000 and change a nice surprise for the new year. Thanks again for all your great videos.

I love this series. I have a question, do you have to schedule each of the bills every month or is there something setup that is just automated?
@RetireonDividendsКүн бұрын
I automate it through the company billing me for most but i did schedule the car payment through fidelity to the bank i owe.

Shouldn’t interest be going down instead of up as you’re paying down the principal on the car? Also, how is “Account balance” calculated? Seems like that should go up since it seems you’re making more than you’re spending, but it went down. I’m not saying you are wrong, I’m sure you are right, I am just not comprehending how you are getting the numbers you were getting and if you have the time, maybe you could help me understand. I love this series by the way!
@RetireonDividends2 күн бұрын
Good question, for the interest November used 29 days in their interest and December used 32 for whatever reason. Also, the Account balance went down on paper because the market tanked towards the end of the month.

Dude, you're gambling on weekly payers coming up with car payments for the next 5 years after we've already had two years of 20% growth in the S&P. And on top of that you're not even making any extra payments while you're making good money now. Man I hope life doesn't smack you in the face with a market downturn. Already imagining the salary like "fun money." lol I like your videos and all, but good god. Everyone's gotta learn one way or the other I guess.

Why would anyone in their right mind pay down a car note early?
@mfinite6892 күн бұрын
@@mundie33 1. It's an 8% loan. 2. They can repo your car if god forbid something happens and you start missing payments. 3. He's obviously making more each month and could easily do it. 4. Lots can happen in the market over the next five years. Why take the gamble of risking your transportation if you don't have to? 5. Not having bills helps you sleep at night, and that is priceless yet most people don't realize the value in it until they're not getting it.
@steelhorses20042 күн бұрын
Well he currently earns a lot more than the bills and his account is growing rapidly. So he's in a great position to achieve his goals. If a market crash compromised his dividend earnings he could always sell some positions to pay the bills if in dire straights.
@yt1ei2oo9ba86 сағат бұрын
RoD did you stressed-test your "plan" with at least a 50% downturn in the market? What if XDTE/QDTE are going south by this amount? The dividend amount is based on the rolling NAV correct?
