I gave a few friends my cd's from the divine. It took some time for them to start liking it but now they totally caught it! There's just nothing like it and i still discover songs that i did'nt notice before and now are part of the soudtrack of my life! Neil Hannon is to modern music what terry Gilliam and Jim Jarmush are to cinematography. Only he is director but also plays the main caracter!

You did a wonderful job with these videos. This is such a great song, I have a feeling that Bang Goes The Knighthood is going to be Neil's best since Promenade. I love the melody where he sings "how i hanker for the good old days". Can't wait to hear what the album version is like.

@mschulze0 heya sorry as you know Neil played a lot of new songs and I don't want to distribute them at this stage. Also the original files are 1080i HD and GBs in size; so it would be a real pain to distribute them. But I hope to upload more of them on here eventually.

@TonightWeFly7 Thanks! Although I always tend to mess around with videos after filming them (removing shake etc) so there's more to it than just using the right camera. Camera on this particular video was a Sanyo VPC-HD1000 although I've got through two more since then (Gotta find new toys!) Actually I'm open to offers on it as it's sat in my drawer unused for the last year. And yeah, I agree about this as a single, especially as the lyrics have been consistently topical for the last year.

he did this on the word podcast a couple of years ago on a cheap casio keyboard and didnt make an effort to play it properly. its actually my favourite version! great song but i didnt like the album version as much as live
