This, PD, is for me one of the best livestreams you've ever done! The questions AND answers were both so relevant and spot-on! Having been on this walk a couple of years now, I have come to the exact same conclusions. If we want to reach anyone with 'deeper' truths found in the Word but cannot show any kind of love, empathy, patience, compassion, then we miss what Torah is actually all about. Yes Torah teaches us what loving Yah and loving others looks like, but we also need to be filled with love in our conduct when we approach others. HUMILITY is key for all of us no matter where we are at in our walk and this video was just so full of it! ❤ This was absolutely beautiful and edifying. Praise YAH. 🥰

The Church member should never disrespect or shun other members for peripheral issues. We will never round off the sharp edges of each other's error or shortcomings by being incommunicado and putting up walls. I agree that Torah is much bigger than just keeping Sabboths and the food laws. The more I understand of Torah the more I realize how far away I am form really knowing His laws and how filthy we human beings really are. I aslo don't think that we truly understand Yahweh's justice and mercy because we are so far away from it. Torah love is no nonsense and harsh. Love is saying the difficult things, the things that sound harsh but are life saving. We cannot walk in sin. The more we understand Torah, the more we will understand what sin is.

Just hearing your answer to the first question, releases people from condemnation and brings unity. Christianity unfortunately is so divided. Too many disagreements over this and that. I honestly don’t fellowship with too many people nowadays. We need to remember and love Christ Jesus FIRST and CENTER OF ALL, then love one another, etc. Jesus as the Foundation. Love Himself.

Hearing your complaint. I think if we started to see the Torah as the very character of Messiah. That love is the core of it. Or lov is the very foundation. The difference might be in the idea of having form in you, vs disciplineing yourself. Balance is needed and must intentionally sought.
@Jasperkins74 ай бұрын
Almost sounds if as if walking in Torah and Walking in Love are opposed to each other. I would argue that following Torah is walking Love...because Torah teaches us to love our neighbor as well as God. Walking in religious pride like the Pharisees is opposed to the Torah and that is why Messiah exposed them so often. They were more concerned about appearing to be religious rather than actually doing what God says. They codified the lesser things of the Torah while ignoring the weightier matters of the Law. They focused on the outward observances of the Law while ignoring the inward observances. Yes, that same religious spirit runs rampant in the "church" today.
@RiseOnFire4 ай бұрын
Absolutely, following Torah is supposed to be walking in love. But just because someone keeps a commandment, does not guarantee they have love. Unfortunately, many who claim to love the law, hate people.
@Jasperkins74 ай бұрын
@@RiseOnFire And likewise there are many who say they walk in love but despise his Law. Ask the average Christian and they will tell you they are not required to obey his commandments only love others. Their idea of love is not in accordance with God's concept of love. The law teaches us how to love God and love others rightly.
@Truth.Is.Intolerant4 ай бұрын
@@Jasperkins7 I think that the issue is understanding the word love. What does God's love look like? It doesnt look like human love which is typically tolerant, bias, partial and doesn't say the hard things that actually save life. If we allow anyone to walk in sin and say nothing, is that love.? If we tolerate it, if we accept it, is that love.? How did God deal with sin? He deals with it in a way that seems very harsh to us. I really believe western culture has no understanding of what love really is. Eastern and Middle eastern cultures have a better understanding as they tend to see things with slightly more biblical world view.
@RiseOnFire4 ай бұрын
@@Jasperkins7 Absolutely, but while some Christianity theologically disagree, many in practice do keep most of His commandments, besides for days and diets. Some in the "Torah community" doesn't do God's concept of love in feeding the poor, proclaiming the Gospel in evangelism, in casting out demons, healing the sick, or other Holy Spirit gifts. We can go back and forth forever on this. My point is, before I speak of another camp, we must clean house first. There are a lot of logs in eyes that prevent discernment.
@Jasperkins74 ай бұрын
@@RiseOnFire I agree with your statement about the gifts of the Holy Spirit lacking in the Torah observant community. This has been my issue as well. I am not a cessationist and have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I would love to find a Torah keeping fellowship that welcomes the gifts of the Spirit. It seems most Torah keeping church's I have attended seem to oppose the gifts of the Spirit. I guess we need an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to break down these barriers. I would agree that most Christians keep some and maybe some keep most of the commandments, but that is probably true for the average non-believer as well. What sets God fearing people apart from the rest is they actively observe all of God's commandments and laws do not pick and choice which ones to follow and which ones to disregard. I was reading a research poll not too long ago showing that abortion within the US churches was on par with non-religious people and it was similar for sexual immorality, sex before marriage, teen pregnancy, adultery, divorce, pornography, drugs, etc... Little to no difference between church morality and the non-religious. Do you think this is due to a lack of love or a lack of fear for God and his commandments?

I enjoy your teachings and thank you for your content, just a quick couple of questions, what is your basis for claiming what scripture is "inspired" or not, Moses clearly claims he wrote the book of Jubilees? Are you just taking the opinions of men or have you studied Jubilees for yourself?
@RiseOnFire4 ай бұрын
Blessings! Moses never claims he wrote the book of Jubilees in the Torah. Jubilees has many good teachings since it largely copies the Torah, and then adds to it. My basis for not considering Jubilees as inspired is based off two premises: First, it contains contradictions with Scripture like the one highlighted in the video. This is the same reason throughout history that the book was not seen as inspired Scripture. Second, inspired Scripture is what God preserved to be in the recognized canon of inspired Scripture. God is all-powerful and preserved truth for us in what we call the Bible. It is our only definitive way to know His will, He did not allow it to be corrupted. If He did, we have nothing to trust and we cannot trust Him. Jubilees is not considered inspired to the level of Scripture, not even by the Ethiopian church, who, while having Jubilees in some of their canons, do not consider everything in their canon inspired to the level of Scripture. Jubilees is valuable as a historical book, but contains inconsistencies when compared to the Bible.

The name John (Yohanan) also means the Grace of God. He represented the one who received the love and grace of God. Meanwhile Peter which means rock was the one who struggled with the letter of the law. Peter boasted in his love(works) for the Lord and ended up denying him, meanwhile John knew he was beloved and was the only apostle who remained with him at the cross. @@xanderbarr1983 Yes, you are correct, but please really stop and think about what you stated above. Yahusha did indeed set us free from the law of sin and death, which is the penalty for disobedience. There is now a priesthood in the order of Melchizedik which is superior to the Levitical. That said, setting us free from sin and death does not mean Messiah set us free from Yah’s instructions (Torah). Gal 3:13 says Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the law, not the law itself. The law isn’t a curse, but there were curses for disobedience. Now we don’t suffer the penalty of immediate death if we sin (transgress Yah’s laws as defined in 1 John 3:4). Remember too, Yahusha said in Matt 5:17-19 to not even think that He came to abolish the Torah, He came not to abolish it but to raise the standard of it from mere compliance to a heart change.

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. {Galatians 5:4} Now of the things which we have spoken this is *the sum* We have such an high priest, (of the order of Melchizedek; chapter 7) who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty *in the heavens* A minister of *the sanctuary* and of the true tabernacle, *which the Lord pitched and not man* For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. (His life; "no greater love"...) For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests [Levitical] that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and *shadow* of *heavenly things* as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make *the tabernacle* for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to *the pattern* shewed to thee in the mount. *But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry* by how much also *he* is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. *For if that first covenant had been faultless then should no place have been sought for the second* For *finding fault with them* he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make *a new covenant* with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; *I will put my laws into their mind and write them in their hearts* and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: {Hebrews 8:1-10} (Jer 31:31-33)

Thank you for posting this type of video PD My definition of keeping Torah... The master yahushua personified it. He ate with publicans and tax collectors.. so there's enough evidence because we are now his body so we do not in this present age keep the clean and the unclean contact laws did I have done for many years.. Like I would sit on a chair at services I don't know if I'm mentioning woman was on that chair so I would go home and wash NBN clean to the evening Leviticus 12 in Leviticus 15 laws are preempted because we are all one body so how does one body take a scalpel and cut itself out of the body you follow me we have to look at the Torah through his one body. So to keep the Torah has you have said earlier We keep the clean laws as far as the food loss The Seventh-Day Sabbath all the feasts and the new ones because one of our high Sabbath is on a new moon so the new moons are all inclusive in obedience.. And I personally wear the tassels,, I can't find any passage of scripture where yahushua did not have His garment on with his Fringe. This is the summation Is a disciple above his master... If you are his disciple you have to be like your master . Should we have to do in represent everything that he did.. From my perspective that's how I see what you're talking about.. In the Christmas seem to be blinded to that.. when you walk in lawlessness you are above your master you're not doing what he does.. I've been struggling with this I don't know how to fellowship with them.. Oh my God you're up I'm uncomfortable around a Christian.. What's inside the spirits and have a Sears gift I see the underworld or the other realm working through them. Satan has a lot of legal grounds in lawlessness.. As you teach this PD Factor back into your thinking the mystery of lawlessness just like the deep State these underground mysteries of evil the mystery of lawlessness And as the master taught us if you love me you will keep my commandments just as he has kept his father's commandments.. This is why I seem to be so distant from the Christian with all that they do it doesn't match up what scripture.. My father says I change not I am the same today yesterday and forever ..

The division is not about keeping Torah or not; it is about belief in election and belief in grace. Are we elected, or is salvation earned by Torah keeping? Is grace sufficient, or does grace require maintenance, replenishment, or work? The Bible is clear: Judaizing is not the way.

The Word is clear about gentiles who want to join the fellowship: In Acts 15 Yakov ruled that if the gentiles want to become part of them, they need to do 4 things: abstain from idols, sexual immorality and eating what is strangled and of blood (eating kosher). And then they should be taught (and obviously start obeying) the rest of the instructions of Moses in the synagogues on Shabbat. Simple.

Nobody actually keeps Torah. You can try, but it is literally impossible. Why would we even try to keep laws of an obsolete covenant that wasn't for us but for old covenant Jews? According to scripture, we are free from the Law, dead to the Law, not under the Law, and the Law is not for the righteous (by faith). Under the New Covenant, our "law" is the commandment of Christ, which 1 John 3:23 describes as: believing and loving. Blessings.
@RiseOnFire4 ай бұрын
None of the quotations regarding Paul are in context. We can both be not under the law, while considering the law for righteous living. “No longer under the law” doesn’t mean we don’t keep it, it means you are not held under the law: the consequence for breaking it is taken away. That is the purpose of the cross. But Jesus says regarding the law and prophets: Mat 5:18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Mat 5:19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
