The Division | Detailed Look At The New Dark Zone | DZ07 - DZ09

In this video I will be walking you through and showing all the new things in the Northern Dark Zone which includes DZ07 to DZ09 that will be brought to the game as of Patch 1.6. Many new features and landmarks have been added as well as a lot of underground areas for players to explore and I am here to give you an overview. Hope you enjoy!

Someone glitched into it a while back and again recently. New assets were visible, so I'm pretty hopeful Central Park is 'coming soon'. Year 2 should bring us a few more bits and pieces. Hoping for a lot more of the map to be available + some single player missions. Don't even think I'm being greedy asking for that. God damn NY looks amazing in this game, massive mistake (pun klaxon) if they waste all the real estate.

Thanks for your posture on the 1.6 PTS in this video. MarcoStyle The backpack skins that can be bought from the premium vendor, do they only change the color of the backpack strap? The short clip we saw made it look that only the strap took the color of the backpack skin or does it actually cover the entire backpack?

they are adding a ingame shop with emotes and weapon skinsin 1.6. Its so much more fun to buy weapon skins rather than unlocking them by challenges or difficult bosses ingame :)

I feel like they should add more customization in the game (appearance only ) I mean look at ghost recon woodland with It's customization , it really makes you feel like the character that you made its your own unique character the developers should Give us masks like a Jason mask or a mask like deathstroke ,balaclavas , emblems and hell even give an option for the player keep his or her mask that we use in the dark zone or contaminated area on at all times .

I should say facial customization and like I stated in my original comment give the players the option to wear like have a Jason mask or a mask like deathstroke ,balaclavas , allow us to make our own emblems and actually wear emblem on our jacket or gun at least. if anything at least his or her mask that we use in the dark zone or contaminated area on at all times ( like what the developers did with destiny allowing players to wear their helmets ) I understand we have a lot customization with clothes we have the option to wear but I always find it weird seeing massive amount of players with the same face

yesterday i logged in pretty early, entered DZ07 and above and started PvPing, it was great! i was doing ok even at 300k Toughness, i took the liberty to do an hybrid build with 200k skillpower and i had fun, of course i didn't see anyone using the new OP exotic weapons except 1guy using the historian which i didn't know at the time what was going on. lol. looking forward to week2.

Who is ever gonna go back to the old DZ01-06? I know I'm not unless I can't find a server that's not all 24 players all in DZ North. Then I'll have the entire other half of the DZ to myself. So I guess yeah it's work both ways. Good video as always. Missed you on Twitch yesterday.

Since that is going to be the mind set - I can see most PVE players staying in the 1-6 zones with the anticipation/understanding that the majority of people will spend most of their time in the new area and should get a good 2 mths of peace. Until the novelty wears off the new zone and then people will just be Fast Travelling down every time they see an extraction start lol.

I'm not bad in any way as a player but i prefer PvE in most games, The Division is one of them, i love going in the Dark Zone and farming bosses because of the way the DZ is set out for PvE fights. Seeing all this makes me extremely happy, cannot wait for this update! DZ07/8&9 is exactly what i wanted the DZ to look like and finally it's a thing. Eeek, so happy!

I hope that they will add the Hunters from Survival as the bosses to DZ09, it would be quite cool to see them because they use the same skills as the players do which would be more challenging and it would be something different.

Marco, the reason the new DZ areas look just like the others is because it looks like you have Neutral Lighting turned off. Turn it on. That makes the game look so much better.

The new areas of the DZ look like an exciting addition. IMO they nailed it on the head with the new higher lever contamination areas and hope they don't change a thing... except of course that change is to further expand the map and/or make it even more challenging to survive the elements 🙌🏻. I would hate to see micro transactions for anything but cosmetics and the developers have done a great job of maintaining a fair playing field.

hey marco, great video. from what im gathering the new dz 7-9 zones are really well made and you like them, and i'm kind of excited for them myself with it being much more intricate in design. i was just wondering about your thoughts on if they revamped other parts of the current map (dz 1-6 and hopefully/possibly LZ somewhat also) to get those areas as exciting as the dz7-9, either as an addition to keeping expanding the map, or even instead of expanding the map given there's a lot of underutilized areas. just as additional content added when another big patch (probs new dlc) comes out.

Do you think what's new is actually going to improve PVP much at all? So far I haven't really seen any streams that show a more balanced PVP. What I have seen is broken weapons, broken SEEKR build/gear, and super tanky NPC. I've also seen that the heals do nothing for players. It seems like this update needs to go back to the drawing board.

The West checkpoint of DZ09 have Central Park entrances in them. Though they are "Under construction". So maybe in the future (Year 2).

Sebastian Poortman Yep, they even have signs with CP02 on it. Probably Central Park 2. We will deffinitely get the central park in year 2, otherwise there will be massive riots (pun intended). I mean look at the map they promised us in the E3 and look at what we got. It's like half the size
