The 20th century fascistic/marxian disasters which each side of the aisle perceive as looming over America are, in both cases, totally illusory. People like this man - who loathe, hate, detest, abhor or detest Trump, seem to base this emotion on his personality alone. While my feelings were no where near as strong, I did/do not like his personality - his record as president shows him to be a far wiser choice than Harris. In 2024, we have a man, who has already shown himself to be a capable leader who was, ultimately, good for the country at home and abroad (serious character flaws recognized) vs a woman who has NEVER shown herself to be a leader and was disliked by her own party.

I'm going to say something that will be controversial, but I firmly believe it to be true. When people switch from the Democrat Party to the Republican Party they feel as if a great weight has been lifted off of their shoulders. For the first time in years they can breathe a sigh of relief and look around at the world around them as of wearing a new pair of glasses. It's a little bit easier to smile. It's a little bit easier to bask in the Sun and actually feel it's warmth. The reason for this is because the Democrats constantly pedal a message of fear and victimhood and that is a heavy weight for anyone to bear especially when carrying that weight around for decades. There is freedom and switching parties, and that's a fact.

We can't pick and choose what we like and don't like, we only get a choice between a collection of goods and you have to take the good with the bad. Do the awful policies deserve to be examined and derided? Of course.
