The guest uses an example that is not accurate. Firstly the FBI codis requirement is, since 2016, 20 loci, not 13. But even eight, as rumored in this case, is not "one in 4,000." It is one in 40 million, or about one in 100 million military age males (over 16, under 60). The DNA on the glove box is a massive problem for any prosecution. Downplaying it as a "partial match" and not a full match ,is just misinformation as there are thousands of convictions -- and exonerations or reasonable doubt -- on below "full match" of 20 loci.
