Letting you know I saw my 4th hearing aid specialist 2 days ago. But he was in your Hearing Up network. Well worth the 100 mile round trip drive. He was heads and shoulders above the other 3 combined and I ordered my first ever hearing aids from him.

I love that you share and explain the sponsors on your show. As a person with hearing loss for about 50 years, I can't tell you how nice it is to hear from audiologists in this way. Super cool! Thank you, keep up the great work.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the new show. I'd like to request an episode devoted to the symptomatic differences in hearing loss from SSHL versus Presbycusis and/or loud noise exposure.

Dr. Cliff, Thank you for all the information you provide. I began my attempts to correct my hearing loss with an OTC set of HAs, but they weren't helping me. When I discovered your KZbin channel, I began to understand that I needed a god Audiolist. I'm now seeing Dr. Jeff Olson (any kin?) and am now hearing much better.

Great start! Since this is the very first show it’s important to give constructive feedback. 1. You should move the sign behind Dr Cook. She is blocking a portion of the sign. 2. Sound is good but lighting needs some work. Too dim, especially when isolating on Dr Cliff. Looking forward to many more shows with lots of in-depth discussion.

I love the set. This reminds me of a new morning show. A bit weird with the voiceover at the beginning ("10 seconds..."). I'd ditch that. The topic of differences between hearing professionals is excellent, and tied in well with the Hearing Up provider programs since both audiologists and hearing instrument specialists can follow best practices. Loved seeing Dawn Heiman as your first guest. She's an amazing provider and we enjoy her "Hearing Wellness Journey" program for aural rehabilitation. Definitely "The Greatest."

Great premiere show. I kind of know Dr. Cliff from KZbin and Dr. Rachel was fantastic. You are a great team. You need to have the microphones better sound dampened from the table or Dr. Cliff needs thick wool gloves when hitting the table! 😇

Great show and thanks for all your efforts to educate the public about hearing loss and its treatment. I have a question: I've been wearing hearing aids for many years, since my early 40's and I'm not 65. I've been through several pairs of hearing aids, first provided by Tricare as I was on active duty, and then purchased by me as I was working and living abroad. I'm going to return to the US soon and am planning to get into the VA health system and request hearing care through them. Since Dr. Cook is clearly familiar with how the VA works, I thought I'd ask: do VA hearing clinics follow Best Practices as you describe and advocate? If not, can a VA beneficiary who requests REM get referred to an outside clinic and have their care paid for, at least in part, by the VA? For my part, having functioning hearing aids has been crucial to my being able to relate to others in social situations, but I sense that I'm not getting maximum benefit from them and I would like to try Best Practices to get the most out of my hearing aids. Thanks in advance and bless you for all you do!

An Audiologist is a Guy who Tests my Hearing all the time and let's me know that I need Oticon Exceed Ultrapower hearing aids now and shows me a Sample of them and cleans out my Ears and gets really close to me when he wants to talk to me so I can read lips and wants to know is this okay and can you understand me now? And he points at stuff a lot to help me understand what they are doing there or if he needs to leave and come back again so he does a lot for me when I am there.

No A1 only works with very well done Bar-B-Que steak 🥩 and A1 sauce taste good with hamburger 🍔 also .But I don't think 🤔 A1 sauce taste good with hearing Aides because it would be very bad for your stomach unless you want to hear your own stomach rumbling inside the stomach.
