I mean, I love claymore but they literally never get to that point in the story, ultimately. Even in the Manga, beyond revealing that was the case... I guess in a way, if it actually went that route but ended up way, way more tame in the actual warring factions part.... Also men surviving the process for longer. Also every other manner of beast instead of specifically draconic. Also the island itself was more of a testing ground for one of the factions and we kinda only know of the other faction exclusively because of the turncoat spies in the organization rly, idk there is quite a bit different but I want claymore revived rly lol. Also super sorry for spoilers but yall sleeping on that series, hyping it is the only way I'll ever see a continuation.

To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts: The concept had potential and it could have been fleshed out into various seasons going after each individual sacred beast. But I found it rushed and lazy with very little to no character development. The only dope scene I remember was when the protagonist hit the wall with his fist, screaming "CAIN!!!!", then the music started playing.

THe Country turned them into what they are, it ows them to never stop trying to help them, but insteead they choos the easy/lazy way and just discards them when they become an inconvinience when they should be looking for ways to suport them. Besides, most of them clearly have their humanity deep inside, And their "insanity" feels more like a metaphor for ptsd. Do you perhaps happen to know about these 2 partcular animes where one is about a group of organization searching widespread in human world for a grown girl which I think is some other creature in human disgiuse or has superhuman abilities. Amidst these chaos a man just randomly passes this said girl while I think both of them were running away inorder to not be found by this organzation and after she pases him that organization gets hold of him and asks about this girl who he just saw but he says he knows nothing about her and this angers them and they let out a face hugging violet colored tentacle creature which sucks the life out of him and then they leave him. The other one I don't know if it was an anime or not but it was about the strange relationship between a human girl and a boy who getss angry easily and can turn into a fox anytime when getting angry...they quarrel at one piont while they were riding a boat and then he suddenly falls or jumps into the lake and after she rescues him his curse of turning into a fox gets lifted and he becomes a normal human being again and both of them gets happy
