My main issue with Sutekh is that he is extremely hyped up to be this great evil, an all powerful, unbeatable foe. The Toymaker, a being who goes against all logic and reason in this universe was SCARED of Sutekh. And then, for his defeat, he doesn't really seem all that powerful, he does NOTHING while they leash him and get into the TARDIS even though we saw that he is capable of easily stopping them. This season left me with the impression that RTD doesn't seem to know how to finish a conflict with creatures that are so powerful like Sutekh or the Toymaker, 'cause both of their defeats seemed a bit... lacking

yeah, It wouldve been better if the 14th doctor that was split came by to help him as like a callback to that episode and setting off a new rivalry with the Toymaker after asking him for help in exchange of unsealing him and his children. Maybe they couldve also made it so that the other doctors were actually also waiting for Sutekh's return and used their current place in time to pincer all of his attempts from the roots, like Endgame where they have callbacks to previous movies then suddenly showing Doctors finding Sutekh's hiding spot in their own versions of the TARDIS.

Really? I was pretty underwhelmed with Pyramids. The most we saw from his power was him hurting Four with a green light.... As soon as Sutekh got free, Four trapped him in the tunnel. He barely did anything. All we heard was a lot of this and that about what he COULD do, but he barely did anything besides mind control some people and talk menacingly. In Empire of Death he killed the universe in minutes. Idk how someone can claim that this version is weaker.

I bring life.” The doctor is trying to tell her that the whole of the vortex is running through her head and it’s killing her. She is misunderstanding what she’s doing because of her tiny human mind and creating a fixed point through Jack. The emotional beats and tone are completely different which is why one is taken seriously and one is a complete joke.

Another instance of Dr Who plot armor. What do I mean by that? Pay attention to how long Sutek just SITS THERE doing nothing but roaring while Ruby attaches a leash to him and runs to the other end of the room while the Doctor is whistling repeatedly. Cosmic powers aside, he could have bit Ruby’s head clean off the moment she went to attach the leash to him! This is like Daleks sitting around talking and yelling “EXTERMINATE” while they let the Doctor and his companions do and say whatever they want when they could have zapped them to death countless times throughout the series! The Doctor is only able to beat bad guys because they sit around letting him talk and do things without interference while they look menacing. Like paper tigers.

Actually, that's just a part of The Doctor's Theme which is a theme that has been used since the previous reboot (2005) in many different episodes, mainly during Eccleston's and Tennant's (first) era, although the music has been used in a couple 11, 12, and 13 episodes aswell! :)

Personal Sutekh theory: He latched on to the TARDIS when Sarah Jane saw his image in Pyramids of Mars. The TARDIS was traveling backwards in time, so when The 4th Doctor sent Sutekh forward he actually crossed his own time stream. OAN: I hope some classic worlds come back..Logopolis, Traken, Gallifrey, and others.

So how is it that the TARDIS was able to enter the Time vortex with the doors open? In the husbands of River Song there was a point where the TARDIS was unable to take off when Hydroflax's head was in the TARDIS and robot body outside the TARDIS registered him as a lifeform both inside and outside the TARDIS which prevented the door from properly engaging and couldn't "seal the real time envelope" and thus couldn't take off. Here the TARDIS is able to take off into the Vortex with the doors wide open.

That aside, theres no way that rope shouldve been able to hold Sutehk, or the Doctor been able to drag said rope into the Tardis. I was genuinely hoping for a more clever approach to his defeat. The 'Death killing Death' was neat but they shouldve done that instead of saying it. Having his own power turned on him wouldve been a great way to weaken him, then send him into the Time Vortex.

Not being able to "seal the real time envelope" which resulted in the engines of the TARDIS interfering with themselves. If the doors are purposely left open, then they couldn't be considered engaged now, could they? Therefore, the same result should happen.
