John Hurt managed to steal the show from Matt Smith and David Tennant and make it look easy. The man had incredible screen presence. He never looked like he was trying to outdo his co-stars but he didn't need Smith or Tennant's hyperactive energy because he spoke and carried himself with such authority. I wish he'd swapped places with Peter Capaldi and showed that whippersnapper how the Doctor should have been played in Seasons 8 and 9.
