We were so deficient in selenium here in the FL panhandle that my does wouldn't get pregnant. I ordered 2 selenium salt blocks from Tractor Supply and they ate the heck out of it for a month and now just nibble when they need it. (Pregnancies took immediately after that month) I gave 1 block to 2 cows and 5 sheep as well (they share a pen at night). And Nigerian Dwarves are just Cats with hooves. 😆

Thats good to know we just moved to the FL Panhandle frm the Jax area. We havent had any issues yet but I have kept up their selenium..its definitely gonna be something I will be watching for now lol. I feel like the copper deficiency is worse here so far, having to dose more often.

Yes, another video!!! I wait all week for this and I just want to THANK YOU for making a REAL FULL VIDEO!!!! I love other channels but it stinks that they rarely post videos and when they do its a 7 or 13 min video. I love how you dont just post kid playing videos you also teach in different areas and actually show the process and the fullness of the situation thats approached. Rather you know how to do things you NEVER stop learning and if you can pick up little nuggets of new tricks or techniques its an added bonus. Keep the awesome videos coming. I wish @sandybrock would let her heard of lambs out to roam. She has so much land for them to let them out on to get direct sunlight and some exercise but instead she keeps them all pinned up in a warehouse type setting and there are just so many of them packed in there. She is a great sheep mom but she just keeps them pinned up. I love to see how well you love on and take care of your goats!

Just a quick tip, first wash of milker should be with cold water and your soap then hot water and soap and last just very hot water and no soap. I made cheese to sell and that's what I was advised anyway.
