You should learn basic greetings / honorifics (sir, uncle, elder), in Dogon. It's really, really important, the way you greet elders in most west African towns greatly defines peoples perceptions of a person and greeting elders properly in the local dialect would impress them more and make them trust you and open open up to you more.

Choclit I agree. I would have done that first thing. Thank goodness I was raised well in Alabama to respect my elders. When I travel it is not difficult for me, because it is a part of me. This young man seem to lack these social graces. He can learn though. Good work.......

When the translator says sacrifice he just means giving away something to others that need it more than you. which is charity as some religions would put it. in many African cultures when one gives he/She gets more. So if we looking for peace among us, we should sacrifice and give more in order to receive the peace back from the universe. the way I see it is when ppl don't get attach to things and have the habit of giving everyone learns to take care of each other and peace and familyhood is inevitable. one love!

*This is what the Hogan was referring to when he talks about giving to those in need, in order to cultivate a culture of Peace and economically cohesive communities:* *"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them."* Albert Einstein What we need to create is a *"National Black Economic Development Fund,"* backed by *one million employed Blacks;* to generate capital to fund new Black businesses and other socioeconomic programs *without remuneration!* It's CRITICAL we pool our resources and build a *PRIVATE SECTOR* for ourselves and completely STOP depending on the government. #EconomicSelfSacrefice *Just imagine If we had at least 1 million employed Blacks pledging $1.25 USD a week, towards creating capital to fund new Black businesses and each funded business, in return, pledges $50 to $100 a week. Just imaging the type of exponential economic success we'll be able to achieve, when 1 million Black businesses (through legal agreement) are contributing $50 to $100 towards funding even more Larger Black businesses etc. It will take "Collaborative Intelligence: (Using Teams to Solve Hard Problems)" to solve the problems we face; under the system of white supremacy! Building a Black Private Sector and ending the dependency on those who continue to oppress us begins with this concept.* *The only solution against white supremacy racism, is the invariable practice of True Black Group Economics:* *One million Blacks for Economic Empowerment* *First layer:* one million employed Blacks pledging $1.25 a week to create Capital to fund new and existing black businesses. The goal is to fund 1 million businesses; who will through legal agreement or sworn oath, donate $100 a week towards funding larger socioeconomic projects. *Second layer:* all funded Black businesses donate $100 a week to generate more Capital to fund larger manufacturing companies, Black owned Media, provide transport, vocational schools, health centers, livestock, farm lands, whole food stores, bakeries, farmers markets, groceries, credit unions, gas stations, sport leagues, Naturopathic medicines, import and export, etc. etc. *Third layer:* politics, take total control of State government *The ONLY solution against white supremacy is: Sustainable Black Group Economics! NOT individualism!* *SOLUTION:* MEGA Black crowd Funding! *Intelligence* is defined as (according to Psychology): "the ability to benefit from past experience (good or bad), *act purposefully,& solve problems, and *adapt to new situations..* understand and handle abstract concepts, and *use knowledge to manipulate one’s environment."* www.britannica.com/topic/human-intelligence-psychology *This concept (mentioned above) represents the antithesis of our conditioning under the system of capitalism; which forces us to think in terms of individual gains. The idea is to create capital to fund Black businesses, without ANYONE being able to pocket any of the funds, except those (small business owners) who are qualified through a screening and education process. When a nation goes to "war" no one is there to profit. This concept is NOT about filling anyone's pockets. It calls for Economic Self Sacrifice, Self Determination, Self Reliance and Self Sufficiency. We need to use our Brightest Minds to perfect this concept. Crowdfunding platforms already exist; therefore, we do not have to reinvent the "proverbial wheel." True Intelligence is a measure of what we've collectively accomplish as a people and not what we're able to achieve as "individuals."*

Setting up a simple alter to honor you ancestors is sorely lacking in western culture. Your ancestors are living inside your DNA and have the most to grant and protect you. Give them more power by honoring/venerating (not worshipping). They are your most powerful allies. When you pass on you have taught your children to do the same for you.

The Nommo are long line descended from the Nilotic Pyramid Builders, and the Ubaid who settle North African Phut, all the way through Ethiopia, and Egypt, to Sumer, before the Akkadians rose at Uruk, and Ur. This is the remnant of the people from Eridu. these are the people who eventually became the west Africans, and under the Ashanti Dynasty, would be sent into America as slaves along with other bearded, non-Nilotic tribes. We are the people before the Nubians, and Ethiopians, and the Dogon are a remnant of what we used to be.

Our ancestors from the Phillippines are called the Aeta, Aeta's looks African, but not the Cushetic type, I know the African have six phases and there are different types, Aeta are very similar to the Pygmies of the Congo basin, Aeta's stand no more than 5 feet tall, Aetas share the same type of living conditions, Is it true the Dogons are short like the Pygmies??? thanks for this video, One love.
