how do you control it? Via a DMX control on my Falcon v5? Did you say it does some sort of DMX pass-thru? Does that mean I can daisy chain 2 through one DMX port?

Yes! We have a video coming up on DMX wiring, but you can chain MANY on one DMX port from your falcon (technically around 32 without a DMX splitter)

There are no FAA/restrictions related to airplanes. The only potential legality we've ever heard of is if your municipality has any rules on "searchlights", which is very rare. (Typically downtown cores of large cities) (And honestly any of the moving heads in this hobby are not really as bright as true searchlights)

I live near an airport/military base airport and there are always low flying planes. Is this an issue to beam lights into the sky? Would I get a knock on my door from the FAA?

Nope, it doesn't ever happen. That is one of the top myths in the Christmas space

Can we make our own Gobo to use with it?

No, that really isn't possible in most true beam fixtures because the gobos are too small to make replaceable

I found what I believe to be this model from a well-known OEM manufacturer with the same specs, for a significantly lower price (minimum order 2). Have you customized these in some way? Can you explain the value proposition, please? I'm not trying to be "that guy," I'm genuinely interested in evaluating purchase decisions with complete information. Thanks!

Real warranty, real US support, and the fact that we use vetted, 3rd party representatives which we have a long relationship with to verify quality before it leaves the factory. There are also OEM's who have copied these units with lower-quality parts at significantly lower prices.

It's not, the actual factory these come from does not sell to end users. But, there are lots of copies out there, and the quality is usually much less on those....I've seen "factories" before simply post pictures of a light on marketplaces, even if they've never even built one...

I still think the 230 watts lamp base are faster and would stand up better weight has a lot to do with quality.

Nope, wait for our comparison video coming! These still are a reasonable amount of weight...but you're comparing an indoor fixture (the 230's) which requires a dome vs. a waterproof fixture. Also, check your specs - these are faster or equal to any of the 230w fixtures in the Christmas light market :)

And we still can get more of those, but every year we look at things and see what the best options are and this year, we found this!
