@@brucewehner9677 John McFee joined The Doobie Brothers in 1979. Patrick, John Hartman, along with Tom Johnston, and Dave Shogren formed the band in 1970. Previously, Greg Murphy was the bass player when the band’s name was Pud.

I’ve been a Doobie’s fan since I was a kid in the early 70’s. At this point, I believe Sibling Rivalry is my favorite DB album. It’s a gem.
