It didn't take forever, it's just taking forever for it to go to trial. JJ's grandparents didn't ask for a welfare check until November 2019; by February 2020 Lori was jailed in Hawaii, then extradited from Hawaii to Idaho. She had a specific date by which to produce the children and when she failed to do so she was kept in jail. Chad, on the other hand, wasn't arrested until the children's bodies were found on his property 6/9/2020.

I was outside w/ husband and baby doing yard work when we heard a G-shot. The man came stumbling outside and the wife followed. She didn’t care! She did NOTHING!! She was just staring at him as he died! It was my husband that called 911. Her son shot him with a shot gun. The kid went to jail, claiming self defense. Now I wasn’t inside that house but I didn’t buy that! Not for a min!! That man was always very kind I never ever heard any yelling or screaming from their home. The cops didn’t care. They never came to ask us any questions not one! I believe the kid should be out of jail soon if not by now. The mother has 14 children, 13 boys and one girl. Many different fathers. She still never even waves hello to us. 2 of the smaller boys use to play with my son. I learned that they were lied to. They have been told that their father died of cancer. They still live there and the police are there every other week. It’s very sad. I think it happens more then we realize.

My mother disowned me at 15 for a man, married him. He did what he did and she did nothing to stop it, even when social services came to the house. She could have given me to my biological father but she chose to keep me in that abusive house. I ran away at 15, she disowned me. I'm 31 now, she's still married to him and we've never spoken since. Maybe there was a guardian angel on Brandon Boudreaux's shoulder the morning of his attempted murder. It's by sheer luck he survived. Something was off about Lori even before she met Chad. She repeatedly ignored court orders allowing Tylee's dad to visit his daughter and told anyone who'd listen he was an abuser. Even child professionals thought she was deceptive at the time. Then she tried to murder Joe years before she'd even heard of Chad

Idk.. didn't Daybell convince her and a few others that the end of the world was coming and that's why they all rushed to get married? In Alex's widow's police interview she said they'd only known each other for a very short time before they were set up to marry. After meeting Daybell, Lori believed nonbelievers were "zombies" that needed to be extinguished, which were confidently all people who were in Daybrll's way, financially speaking.

It always pains me to see the incompetence of the Chandler, Arizona police when Alex killed Charles. They didn't even ask to see where Charles had hit Alex in the back of his head (according to Alex). Then Lori laughing and flirting with them. Would that seem normal to you? That a woman whose husband was just shot would be all flirty and cutesy? Why were these people getting paid to "serve and protect" when they had what seemed to be a collective IQ of zero? They could have stopped all the horror to come, just by having the sense to know that this was a true murder scene. If I were Charles's family, I would sue.

In a perfect world, those incompetent police officers would be held responsible for NOT doing their job. Chandler and Gilbert PDs must be among the most incompetent ones in the civilized world. Had they done their job, maybe lives would have been saved.

I was angered to there incompetence as well. I saw the “interview” and then notification about her having to take the psych evaluation. They were so enamored with her they never confronted her about the death threats Charles mentioned or the crazy things she was saying. Very sad. No intuition and no clue about what the truth may be. Just clueless..Just awful.

Tylee, JJ and Charles will never be forgotten. This is a horrific act of pure evil. Any murder of a child is evil, but the manner in which they were tortured, killed and disposed of… it’s dark on a completely different level. A lot of details will come out during the trial that are unbearable. I pray for Larry and Kay. May God give them health, strength and healing. May beautiful JJ, Tylee and Charles be at peace in the light. May all other murders committed by Chad and Lori come to light; Tammy Daybell, Joe Ryan, possibly Boyd Price, Lori’s sister… and the countless others they may have ended!

I just looked her up. She has been in prison for some time and they still haven’t had the trial. She is attempting to say she never knew her brother would kill them. What about her husband? Then she covered up the children’s disappearance and they were buried in her husband’s back yard. Idaho better not let her walk.

And what would be the point of Lori not telling anyone where the kids were, if they were alive and well? Plus, there was a court order demanding that she produce the kids by a certain date. Alex had zero reason to do any of the vile things he'd done if it hadn't been for Lori needing them done. He tried to kill Tylee's dad Joe, shot at Brandon Boudreaux, shot at Tammy, he killed Charles, and likely the kids and Chad killed Tammy. Alex may have been killed using the same method that was used to kill Tammy - poison?

But the essence of a person that defines them as, "good." doesn't change as a result of certain circumstance. Circumstances do not CAUSE change, but only reveal the truth of a person's character.

Hi Ted! It’s exciting every time I see you on Court Tv because I watched you every day for years at KTVU. To me your voice is what I hear when anyone brings up the Laci and Scott Peterson case. When I see Lori laughing minutes after Alex shot Charles I’m stunned that police didn’t haul her in and charge her then. Had they investigated Alex and Lori more thoroughly then the kids may still be alive.
