I saw them live in 1967,at the University of Michigan, and they were unbelievable and great... I am 76 years old, and I just woke up, don't you understand, that a great concert mesmerized and hypnotized me for 56 years!!! Wow, what a concert from the best damn band of all time. Thanks, Mr.Morrison 🎉❤

I saw The Doors in Moscow in 2010. How? Manzarek and Krieger came and played in person, and they brought some young guy, looking and singing just as Morrison. Unbelievable impression, just as you hear The Doors back then. I must say, here in Russia in 60's to 80's all the rock music was coming to us like a light from a distant star. No concerts, no records, Iron Curtain only. So in 2010, I was riding a time machine listening to The Doors.

I remember reading somewhere that Morrison and another band member wishing someday to tour in Russia (and China too) and talked about it. Too bad for all of us that performance couldn't be realized and then later of course impossible.

The same with me. I was a young Bulgarian kid. I was going through my 5 y older sisters bootleg tapes when I heard the Doors for the first time. I was 10 or something. Right after the Berlin wall fell. It changed my life. I basically learned English from Jim's poetry.

Before the show Mick came to talk to Jim about what to do playing these bigger venues where the stages are bigger, like how to use the space, to dance and whatnot....And while Jim was on for this show, I would say it was a pretty subdued performance as far as him dancing/engaging the audience. But I mean Jim was never gonna be like Jagger running around on stage and dancing the entire set. The Stones weren't immune to these "subdued" type performances, Rock and Roll Circus comes to mind

Jim feels like the Lizard King with his genius buddies around him. This group defies categories. The DOORS are a u n i q u e rock-microsm, because as musicians, they read each others mind. They played without a setlist! Nothing matches the DOORS-experience. "Lo hombres no saben... pero las chicas entendien". The DOORS: a love supreme!

I saw Ray and Robby 20 years ago at The National Stadium in Chile, theirs last track of the night it was Moonlight Drive, and that night we had the biggest full moon over our heads, it was magical, I went with my best friend and we were crying, the best day of my life.

Thankfully, Born in 1960 I never had ta go to Vietnam..to me the Doors came home with guys from Vietnam in 1973 along with some Awesome weed. lol being a kid late 60s, teen early 70s was a great time ta be a kid. And saying who was the best band, I could never say. But the Doors are definitely in the top 10. Sex, drugs and Rock n Roll ✌

I so appreciate that I was born when I was born, this music is so great. I kinda feel sorry for the last 2 generations, they seem to feel they have to listen to a genre of music called Rap/Hip Hop. There are 2 million Rap/Hip Hop tunes with a total of 2 different beats and maybe 3 different melodies. Yep it all sounds the same since Run DMC in the 1980's. Will that beat ever end?
