I love the Doors they were so ahead of their time so sad Jim Morrison died at a very young age I would have loved to see what else they would have produced! How does no one get the mr. mojo rising part? :-) Everyone focuses on it being an anagram of Jim's name, which is true, but even when I first heard it as a teenager, I knew what it was about. Listen to the music build up in that part with the lyrics, the faster and faster pace and the screams/exclamations towards the end... It is so obvious, but no one seems to connect it. Such a sensual song.

Hang on if you go down the doors rabbit hole. They have a very wide variety of songs. the one thing that'll help you out the most is to understand that the lead singer Jim Morrison was basically a poet and they wrote A lot of the songs around his poetry which was pretty out there. also remember the culture of the day was to do an awful lot of drugs so this was pretty trippy music.
