The Doors had such a huge following back in the day and their music is still as great today.

very underrated song in my opinion. always felt like it had a waltz-like feel to it. can imagine it being played in a ballroom.

Waiting for the Sun came out in 1968 and was The Doors 3rd studio album. It was their only Number 1 album remaining there for 4 weeks. It also produced their 2nd Number1 single, "HelloI I Love You". It was a difficult album to produce, due to lack of material and Jim's increasing alcoholism. Drummer John Densmore walked out of the session due to Jim's condition. Each song took at least 20 takes. This song is a great Doors tune. Jim's vocals are beautiful and the organ persistently keeping the rhythm along with a great melody. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Scott. Great tune. Bundle up Harri, we want you to be healthy for Christmas. ☃️☃️❄️❄️🎄🎄🤗🤗 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

One aspect of Morrison dying young is that he is always in our psyche as young.

Almost like a waltz, and sometimes like a polka. Interesting song by The Doors.

@johnstorton2 жыл бұрын
@@williamstlouis3368 It is definitely 3/4. I have two books of sheet music of Doors songs, and you can easily count with the music, "ONE two three, ONE two three... The books are "The Doors Complete" published by The Paradox Music, copyright 1970" and "The Doors Anthology" published by Hal-Leonard (no copyright date given.)

Sounded like a waltz to me. Not one of my favorite Doors tracks.
