Tom is the best. Seeing you guys banter back and forth again makes me smile ear to ear. I vote for a monthly TW episode!

I saw you guys on that UK your in Manchester, and honestly was the best gig I’ve ever been too. I’ve been to shit tons of gigs, saw all the greats, but Stray From The Path have something special. Forever be one of my favourite bands since that night

Loved this episode. Can feel the passion for this in Toms words. Been following stray for a long time and I’m glad it’s paying off for the boys. Loved the addition of Craig. I was sad when the last drummer left but Craig makes me forget that dude was even in the band.

A big part of this is just a Gambling PSA. Lolol. Also, I realize that I've been sucked into the Tom Williams pipeline. TDWP to Counterparts to Dying Wish to Foreign Hands is real. Also, I thrive off the friendships between all you bands. You guys entertain me as much as TV shows with constant social media and real life (touring together) content.

Catching up with this after seeing Stray in Manchester last night. What a joy to listen to you both chat, and what you guys say about Drew is so true - he is an UNREAL stage presence and got us all hyped to hell last night. (You were very good too Craig).

You guys came out and im thinking to myself, god he looks familiar.. is that craig reynods?! Haha then i googled your band and was super stoked to see you jam live. Thanks for the killer show, crazy how much the lead singer sounds like zach de la roche!

Patiently waiting for the 2 and 1/2 long episode with II from sleep token. Craig spends the entire time asking questions, shooting the shit, having full blown conversations, while II just stares the entire time only for Vessel to come out of nowhere at the end and give a little heart hand to the camera.

I don't know what it is exactly, but this episode feels really different. Maybe it's how surprisingly relaxed and softspoken Tom is. Or maybe it's Craig just having a chat with a friend. No persona, no fanboying... both of which is fine, 0 hate. It's just that this one has avery pleasant vibe. I listen to only a few podcasts in total and this episode made me add Downbeat to that list (of ~3). Not just for when a drummer I like is on. Keep on doing what you're doing. It's great!

Yeah when he, Tom, started going about how nothing in the band would have happened that have happened would come to fruition had small changes in their lives not happened. That small moment made me tear up a bit because it really does out into perspective many things that I personally relate to, I'm also just a crybaby. Regardless, this talk was such a great one on one,Ike a conversation you overheard like the after party convos when no one's around - genuine is the word.

@rocioiribe5841 Жыл бұрын
Just overall they have smaller washers & dryers and they're not as strong. Which in a way is better for the environment, many people hang dry clothes ECT, that's been my experience

@johnrobertcorney Жыл бұрын
Listen, I think you should do the 80/20 drummer show. He has awesome guest but they need someone with teeth. I believe you have those choppers. Conversely us autistic jazz drum nerds don’t know about you or the DB. Think about it, It’s a wild convergence that could literally rip a hole in the drum space time continuum. His shout out to your channel is how I discovered you in the first place 2 years ago, so there is a precedent. Just saying.

In South Africa you need a gun license, less school shootings. Still more crime? The world's messed up everywhere . Here tho we have government hospitals and I know people that have been in for surgeries and had an option to donate, they still survived as well as 1000s of child births daily all done by government hospitals. If you can afford medical aid there's that to. Heck here if you wealthy you can get private security. I think you still need to pay for an ambulance tho or catch a taxi. I'm fortunate I haven't needed one

I know this isn't the place to start arguing over gun control and gun violence. But the discussion about literally considering leaving the country because of gun violence tells us how insane our media is here (in the US) with how sensationalism is brainwashing everyone. In the last several decades, the number of people who have been killed by being struck by lightning is almost DOUBLE the number of people who have died in school shootings. It's extraordinarily rare. Obviously, it's not as rare as anyone would like it to be, but making life-changing decisions based on this exceptionally uncommon thing just seems crazy to me. On average, less than 15 people have died per year in school shootings since 1970. But in 2021 alone, there were over 40,000 deaths due to car crashes in the U.S. Yet I have never once heard anyone say they're considering moving out of the U.S. to a country that has fewer car deaths on average - despite that reasoning making a whole lot more sense if safety is a major factor.
