The biggest issue affecting Canada is the brain drain. White-collar jobs in the U.S. pay 2-3 times more while also offering significantly lower taxes. Our healthcare system is practically non-existent; they’re currently triaging cancer patients due to a lack of facilities. This means if you’re considered "too far gone," they won’t treat you-even if "too far gone" is something as treatable as stage 2 cancer or even stage 1B. There are cases where people could have been saved, but they died waiting for care. This isn’t rare-doctors are often booked six months out, even for simple tasks like writing letters or addressing basic prescription needs for seniors. People are frustrated and depressed everywhere you go, and friendliness is becoming a thing of the past. Housing is another major issue. Affording a home is virtually impossible, with Toronto and Vancouver hosting two of the world’s largest housing bubbles. Nearly a third of the country’s population lives in these regions, where the cost of living has become completely out of reach for average Canadians. Homeownership feels like a pipe dream for most people, especially younger generations. Homelessness is rampant, and drug use is everywhere. Needles litter the streets, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to dodge crack addicts. I often feel like I could be stabbed just walking through certain areas. It’s become a dangerous and disheartening reality in so many communities. Nightlife is dead here, and while the East seems to party endlessly, the rest of the country is struggling. The cost of living is skyrocketing, wages are stagnant, and you can’t even get a family doctor. At this point, there’s little reason to stay. Back in 2010, only about 13 U.S. states were ahead of Alberta economically. Now, Alberta, once considered wealthy, isn’t ahead of a single U.S. state. The country has gone downhill. On top of this, immigration levels are overwhelming; they’re about 10 times higher than in the U.S. relative to population, leading to entire communities and cities being dominated by newcomers who often don’t speak English or French. Quebec, with its equalization payments, is the only place in Canada that still feels somewhat like it did in my childhood. Every other major city has been overrun. The military is an embarrassment. Our ships don’t even float-most are in dry dock, and my buddy who toured a naval facility said the vessels leak so badly that the navy spends most of its time on shore. It’s no wonder we’re considered a security risk by our allies and are being excluded from key collaborations. Attrition rates are the worst I’ve ever seen. The government silences dissent, freezes bank accounts, strips away rights, and sells out to foreign interests. In my opinion, Canada is finished. Meanwhile, family members in the U.S. have no issues finding work and earn significantly more. Even if Pierre Poilievre gets elected, I believe the country will collapse or enter a massive depression within five years. Life here hasn’t improved. People I know were better off working as farm laborers than using their degrees in finance or accounting. It’s truly bleak, which is why so many, myself included, are leaving. For me, Texas represents the future. Wages in my field are three times higher there, and I can actually afford to live. It’s sad, but like many others, I’m just tired of the issues. Canada is done, and the best thing to do is leave.

Justin Trudeau’s father when questioned in the 1970’s about Canadian culture that was being effected by the pouring into Canada of only Indian, Pakistani, and Chinese immigrants, replied that Canada has not culture, and he obviously passed that on to his son . Globalists tell us that under their rule, we will own nothing, have no rights and freedoms, but we will be happy. The fact that people from third world countries are pouring in here, who will not notice the drop in quality of life Real Canadians are experiencing , is good for globalization. Not being able to own a home is another good step towards globalization. To this commentator. Pierre has his work cut out for him, as our country is in dire straits at the present time, and no doubt many Canadians will expect miracles in the very first year in office. In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world. There are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia. Multiculturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.

Multiculturalism does not ruin anything, that’s a ridiculous take. It’s the way that it’s been implemented in Canada. “Multiculturalism” is not something new, the current brand of it is just toxic. This is simply people living in the same physical space but not mixing, due to poor implementation of immigration policies by the feds. Look at New York. Lots of people mixing, it’s the norm. The US is far more multicultural than Canada, but they don’t need to scream it at the top of their lungs to themselves to convince themselves that they are good. It’s not about good or bad or being politically correct, it’s about being a normal and sane human being.
@skateboarding1183 күн бұрын
Any cultural clash is from the first generation, but the kids get along fine with others as it’s the norm for them. The issue is, you bring in a disproportionate amount of any one culture in a short amount of time, then they will simply make their own towns so that they never have to integrate. This is not multiculturalism, and that is wholly on Canada. Take accountability and stop blaming others.

Of course talking about curbing immigration gets one labelled as racist, white supremacist etc. Politicians tend to be spineless and thus shy away from that rather than telling the soft-headed buffoons to piss off. Definitely expanding the oil customer base. We're terrifically dependent on oil income, because we've borrowed against it, and having just one customer who can weaponize that dependency is risky as heck. BUT, also need to avoid Dutch Disease. Being too dependent on oil exports itself can cause a downward spiral. The standard solution is to strive to save every penny from that export (rather than being paid a day rate to give over 60% of the value to the asset holders) and use that income to purchase international assets. This keeps the currency from strenghtening too much, and allows other industries to develop. And then you have the dividends from those international assets to buffer downturns or feed growth.

Maritimer here, we are feeling the "videcession" like none other here. Everything is collapsing. The housing has doubled here. I'm seeing so many homeless it's scary to walk the streets. The collectiveness of this society has to be dismantled because I have felt more distant to any Canadian my entire life. Considering that we are losing our Identity and allowing the a demographic shift to the point of no return. Extreme political reform needs to happen or we are indefinity screwed. The eye opener was when I went for a job at my government and they hired me as a contract worker. The reason is because I am white. If I were to do an interview at the government for a full time position and scored the same as a visible minority they have to hire the visible minority. It's literally racism based on skin color. This policy has shifted my view towards my parents generation. They are selling off there sons and daughters to right the wrongs of their ancestors. I don't mind immigration but this is only supporting the big monopolies that have the stranglehold on policies. It's benefiting the already rich and ruining the poor and low middle class families standard of living. The outsourcing of immigrate jobs and men coming into the society is creating civil unrest of social (finding a female partner) and finding a job in stem (more masculine jobs are being taking like tech). It took me FOUR months to find a new job as I have a computer science degree with SIX YEARS experience with huge tech background. Seeing the crony capitalism from the LIBERALS during covid made my stomach turn. I was so shocked and upset because the free funds given to mega corps screwed over the entrepreneurship enterprise who were already selling online services. This has lead in tech stagnation and the monopolies have gotten so big they are controlling the markets. They are singlehandedly able to raise prices of gas and food with ease trying to stretch it as far as they can go. I'm not one to complain but how can you go so long when trying to shoot your own sons and daughters in the foot so many times that they can't even walk anymore you have to speak up. As a Maritimer I am shocked the west (Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba) has not became it's own country. I would support it completely. We cannot afford to be a centralized government anymore because of the cultural / ethnic / geographical differences between provinces is so far gone unity is no longer feasible.

Race is not skin-deep. We can now model race/breed with G25 PCA graphs. Your breed is your ancient ancestral mix which is various hunter-gatherer and/or neolithic farmer groups. And Europeans have western european hunter gatherer ancestry (they have gone extinct btw) and that gives us unique genetic traits that not even our cousins in the levant or mountains have. It is ok. I can create a hardcore cult centered around neolithic anatolian farmers and their legacy, particularly their god-like impact on west eurasia technologically, culturally and genetically. They started civilization with agriculture and pastoralism. So I can include non-muslim levantines (Jews, Druze, Lebenese), Europeans, West Turks (who are genetically greeks) and mountain people like Persians, circassians, Chechens, etc under a racial banner. Where we will go HAM on revolutionary innovation that will solve many problems.

Thank you for sharing what's happening in the Maritimes. I don't know anyone there but, I do wonder how things are going in other parts of Canada. Yesterday, I guessed the cost of living must be really insane in Nunavut because of the Carbon Tax. Food has never been cheap there because of it's location but, it is probably a lot worse now. I wish I could convince them not to vote Liberal/NDP because the NDP is propping up Trudeau. It's upsetting that Canadians are struggling. What's happening in the Maritimes, is slightly different than the Prairies but, it's still bad. My mom won't drive a certain route because she's afraid she will get shot by criminals. I heard the tech industry is a struggle here too but, I don't know in what ways. Hiring based on skin colour is insane. I'm hoping the changes happening in the USA will rub off on Canada. Trump is going to ban transgender people from the military and public bathrooms. He is also against DEI hiring. Bye the way, you are possibly the visible minority now. I don't know if it's true or not but, I saw a stat the other day that ranked European people in fourth place in terms of population by ethnicity. If that's true, you should be the visible minority hire. Of course this practice is wrong and it needs to end. A prairie country isn't a bad idea.

"Canada" isn't in the business of anything. It's investors who have to decide where to invest their money. If housing gives the only good return that's what they'll invest in. Most Canadians are better off investing in American businesses than in trying to find opportunities in Canada. "Canada" as a country can't invest in anything, unless you think the Canadian state should start buying up companies and running them into the ground as Crown corporations.

The 5 can leave and start their own country. If the 5 produce most of the wealth, they will thrive running their own show, and the 20 left behind will starve. Problem solved. Remember why Canada was formed. The British wanted to get out of the colonies business (except for India which was lucrative) and wanted to bring the British Army home. They manipulated the British colonies to confederate into own large colony that might be able to defend itself (with the help of the Royal Navy.) The colonies didn't really want to confederate, they were all trying to see what they could get out of it for themselves and that's the way the provinces all view Canada today. A business arrangement between rivals who don't trust each other with no love lost. When we all (even Québec) lived under the Union Jack as British North America that wasn't the United States, it all sort of made sense. But now it doesn't. Trudeau is right. Canada no longer has any national sense of itself, unlike the United States which has always regarded itself as a nation....except during the Civil War. But the South has ever since then America First. Does anyone in Manitoba or British Columbia or Nova Scotia think of himself as Canadian First? Too many immigrants think of themselves as Muslims first, or Sikhs first, fighting foreign battles on Canadian soil.
