People in Western countries are all experiencing similar problems. It's really bad in Australia, the UK, and Ireland. Why is this? What is the common factor. It's called wokism and affirmative discrimination. It's also due to the pandering to unproductive nutjob minority groups such as LBGTQ and Climate Change whackos. These are the common factors in all Western countries that are causing the problems. The population increase from immigration to Australia is also a huge problem regarding the lack of housing.

0:00: 📈 Ireland's economy has transformed from a third world country to having the fourth largest GDP per capita in the world. 2:22: 💡 Ireland's small size and lack of resources made it difficult for the country to industrialize, leading to little economic or industrial growth compared to other European countries. 4:49: 💰 Ireland's sweeping economic reforms in the late 1980s and 1990s led to the Celtic Tiger period, with consistent high growth rates and increased income levels. 7:22: 💰 Ireland's corporate tax rate attracted multinational corporations, leading to significant economic growth. 9:50: 🍀 Ireland's GDP was artificially inflated by Apple, leading to the creation of a new economic metric called modified GNI. As a Canadian, my rent went from 700$ a month 8 years ago to nearly 1600$ a month now, and we're worried we might have to start paying for utilities on top of thag. God help us

Every day we encounter novel challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2023, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680,000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.

My advisor is Margaret Johnson Arndt; I found her on a CNBC interview where she was featured and reached out to her afterwards. she has since provided entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. I basically follow her trade pattern and haven’t regretted doing so

It is advisable to steer clear of cons that appear improbable. Seeking guidance from a fiduciary advisor can be helpful as they are highly skilled in their field and can provide tailored advice based on an individual's risk appetite. While there may be unscrupulous individuals, there are also remarkable ones with a positive track record.

Despite hearing that insider trading secrets could lead to making millions in the financial market, I hesitated to invest as I lack the required skills and a sound strategy to surpass the market and achieve profitable returns. Additionally, although I possess $160,000, I find it challenging to take the plunge due to a shortage of funds.

If it's anything like Australia, part of the problem is big financial institutions buying up all the land zoned for residencies they can, and then slowly drip feeding it back onto the market at top dollar. the bubble isn't an accident. Not to mention hundreds of thousands of homes standing empty. Or no slow up of immigration despite there already being not enough places affordable for people here already.

Canada is currently ranked the 13th happiest country in the world, out of 195. That's pretty damn good by any rational standard.. But if you're a froth-at-the-mouth right-wing crank you must froth regardless of facts,

You've used two distant suburban locations and older somwhat 'tired' buildings a fair distance from London, UK as comparables to a brand new building in the downtown core of Toronto. Not exactly comparing apples to apples, are we? If you compare like to like, you will quickly find that real estate in Canada is still cheaper or, at worst, comparable to every other G20 nation. Regarding the housing shortage; when projects like the Mississauga project you mentioned get shot down, that's not government. That's people who live there telling their government "no thank you." It may not help the housing crisis but it's the will of the public. Don't blame the political system for doing what we tell them to do. Admittedly, food prices have gone up a fair bit in the last few years but that and all the other issues you raise are international issues right now. There's a war going on in the bread basket of Eastern Europe in case no one's noticed. So, of course, grocery chains will gouge us. Interest rates are not high. Your generation has had virtually free money for the last decade because it was the only way the world economies could extract themselves from the financial fiasco caused by fraudulent behaviour in the US banking system which lead to the collapse of 2008-09. Interest rates aren't yet anywhere near historical averages. This, too, is an international problem. Certainly not confined to Canada. If housing is too expensive, why are people still buying? Obvious;y not too expensive for a great many. Our government does not control the cost of housing in a free market. Want prices to ease? Stop buying a thing and the price drops to what the market will bear. All these issues were alive and well in the late 1950s when municipalities across Canada started building affordable housing projects for the first time because the economy of post-war Canada was booming. Then, in the 1970s, the economy went the other way due to the energy crisis (which was actually a US/Middle East foreign policy crisis) and house prices came down and levelled off. Throughout this period, mortgage rates averaged around 6-8% incidentally. By 1980, average mortgage rates were closer to 12% and, over the course of the next 4 years, unstable global economics caused a spike to as high as 22-24% causing a collapse in the housing market and prices dropping by 20-25%. By 1988, mortgage rates were back down to around 10% and remained in that general vicinity until the turn of the millennium. House prices rose through that decade as a result of "cheaper" (by comparison) money and a shortage of available housing. It's also through 80s and 90s that Toronto really began to evolve into a city of condo towers which, in the early years, gave first time home buyers a way into the housing market. It's worth noting that the classic 2 bedroom condo design that splits the bedrooms/bathrooms to opposite sides of a unit first appeared in the 80s because few could afford their first home on their own. The idea of a unit that could be shared came in to being as a popular layout. Everything that's happening now is just a re-tread that every other generation lived through. Some of us has seen it enough times to know that the sky is only falling if you haven't done your homework.

I came to Canada in 2014 and I got a bachelor degree and worked for 2 years. The cost of living is 2-3 times than when I first came here. Fun fact, I got full marks on my English test and I still can not get my immigration. Ten years ago, it was easy for me to get immigration with education, work experience and good English/French when government was only accepting 200k new immigration per year. Now the new immigration is 500k per year and I can not get it, who the hell is getting Canadian immigrations?

Being from Québec, I can say that Canada really took a nosedive since 2020... In our province too, living is less and less affordable while the housing and rent prices exploded everywhere in the province.... Worst part is, our provincial prime minister is denying that there's even a housing/rent crisis... ...I really miss the 90s...

The New World Order has sunk its teeth in to Canada and it's a test platform for the United States. Oh yea, that "population explosion" you spoke about? It's what is called a soft invasion. Just ask European Countries like Sweden about it. These immigrants will displace your culture and population all while your government calls you racist if you object.
