This was definitely my story.....when I got out of law school and secured an internship in a prestigious firm and got down to nearly single digit bodyfat....I met a girl who loved everything she saw but hated the grind that was needed to keep the six pack and the big arms and wide back....and hated the grind that kept the money flowing...she tried convincing me (and succeeding) that I should break my diet, "live a little" and slung that pussy at me hard. I admit, it is ultimately my fault, I cannot blame her for her nature. I should have had a stronger mindset and frame. I got complacent, foolishly believed she "loved me for me" and when my money, my abs, and my internship were gone.....so was she. You can argue if fair or not BUT the free for all now makes it very hard for a man to marry. The alimony and support rules didn't change, even though for all intents and purposes, women probably are better earners than men today.

Instead of getting comfortable you get swamped with new responsibilities and new challenges that completely wreck whatever routine you have that keeps you at your best. There are some people that are good at maintaining those priorities and make use of family and whatever resources they have…but for some that are unfortunate and live far from the nearest grandparent it’s definitely a struggle.
