I played party royale a lot honestly, but I stopped for many reasons. 1. Toxicity over cosmetics 2. Flexing (makes me cringe hard) 3. No updates ever 4. Removed phone booths 5. Removed a glitch that prevented you from being fishing roded 6. Fishing rods and crash pads 7. Day 1 party royale had more features then current party royale

The fact that when people leave the game it doesn’t fill back up like it used to now get a full game for 5 minutes then all of sudden 6 people are standing around the background music when you’re not emoting or next to someone miss it the changing booths gone for all most 2 years now that’s why I moved on to custom party royale modes

Fortnite is trying to become a metaverse, if they want this “metaverse” to work they’ll need cosmetics to become available again this is why renegade raider came back and also because they probably needed the money too. I genuinely think they should just give styles and nobody will complain, they know they can get away with it and them being a company this gives them a way to rerun those old seasons and make even more money. EXCLUSIVE They are in fact exclusive but to their respective seasons meaning they can come back as long as it’s active during their season just like renegade raider and the season shop and if I’m wrong then why is the season shop in the item shop when it had its own tab? I don’t mean to argue over this and no hate towards you at all.

I would still play it occasionally if they didn’t remove phone booths for me to experiment with skin combos, but more importantly if the music was still playing. The lobby tracks playing in the background at all times was one of the most signature things about Party Royale but they just removed it at some point. Now nobody plays it and there’s absolutely zero music or sound at all anywhere on the map, you can hear a pin drop.

We lost Arena, Impostors, both Creative Royale & Battle Lab, TRIOS AT SOME POINT EVEN, and yet SOMEHOW PARTY ROYALE IS STILL STANDING. It even was deleted at some point but Epic went out of their way to bring it back and fix THIS GAMEMODE instead of giving that love to the ones above, which are all INFINITELY more loved and useful than Party Royale will ever be.

Somthing funny and kinda cool about ""PR"" is that, the graphics never updated with the new season. PR is stuck in Chapter 2 grapics. Like a little C2S2 time capsule you can visit at any time. I hope it stays just for that alone

in chapter 4 party royale got updated graphics and it stayed like that until it got randomly removed in chapter 5, then when they brought it back the music was gone, graphics were back to chapter 2 and overall the mode became rly buggy. i remember the chapter 4 graphics made all of the building interiors pitch black because there were no lumen light sources inside of them lol

I only ever loaded this mode up to watch Batman, a cornhole tournament they were airing for some reason, and to match make for squads at one point in time cause for some reason matchmaking for BR in party royale ignored the normal skill based matchmaking it felt like but that quickly changed after like a week or so I believe it was. OH and I would load this mode up to do the fishing milestones without worrying back in the day for the xp.

I haven't play fortnight for a while. I think last time it was ch2, s3 the one with secret agents. And when I'm back I like visiting party royall as a place where I can find some new team mates to add to my friend list. Just enjoying the game. But yeah, few years ago it was way better than now. I'm usually don't stay there for too long. It's like 15-30 minutes to me to find some one there to play with

Totally agree that it's a dead mode, especially with all the dev bots, the stupid launch pads, quads and fishing rods. Add to the fact you can no longer get xp from doing quests in it ( by fishing and driving ect) Also they brought jam tracks to party royal which annoys people because they go in there to chill with their emotes. Honestly i go into hiwpoos now, a better party royal. It has boothes, xp and i can chill with my friends If it gets removed people will just go to the creative party royals that are just better.

The main problem is that there are only limited things to do. If they added something like minigames or even stuff like battle arenas or now with the other gamemodes they could add parts from each mode to party royale and it would it so much more fun. Battle Lab was removed for technical reasons. Picture this: every Chapter they had to place the rifts and their respective teleport points on the new island. They also had to assign the current island to the playlist, make sure there were no bugs, and alter the loot pool with each update's changes. In other words, it required maintenance, unlike Party Royale which can sit there unchanged. I'm not excusing Epic's laziness in this change, but I will say this: It was one thing in Chapter 1/2/3 where they only had to calibrate it (For major changes) every 2 years, but when they switched to yearly Chapters, especially considering the minimal payoff of continuing to update it, they decided to drop it.

@k90v85 It's more complicated than that. I read the full explanation online a long time ago. It's the same reason LTMs never come back. Each playlist has to have the entire island attached to it, as well as the storm circle locations reworked (So they don't, like, center in on the ocean). The spawn points also have to be manually aligned, as well as what spawns in each one. It would (At first glance) seem like all of this stuff would be copy & paste, but it's much more complicated than that in the code. Is it optimal? No. Is it the way Epic set it up years ago and it would take months to rework the entire code to group things like these together, and they don't have time for that because they have to have a constant flow of new content added in? Yes.
