I think that's character development. Din didn't trust droids one bit either and in S3 he was actively seeking the help of one. And he starts talking to Grogu more, as they bond. In S1 he didn't want anything to do with the child. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You still have time to take down this horrendous view - you are an artist of an editor (clearly by the video and its superb quality) but I think you dont got the best view on story telling. I feel like season 3 is gonna be a crazy hype filler season

Hey, you’re more than welcome to have your own opinion, this is just mine from a filmmaking perspective. After all, art is subjective. Also keep in mind here I’m only commenting on the first 2 episodes of season 3, it could very well get better (I hope!)
