Great update. The competitive side needed a change. As a veteran in war tycoon, when you fight other high ranking players, it's just riot shield then sniper 1 shot. At most it will only remove some sweaty annoying players such as yourself

As a sniper main myself, i can say that i am glad they nerfed the hipfire on snipers, and i strongly suggest they nerf it even more, cuz the current nerf is BARELY visible. Despite me using the sniper meta and winning most of the times, i hate it, due to it not being fun at all. The old days of war tycoon/oil warfare tycoon metas were much better, with ppl using various rifles and shotguns. So stop complaining about the sniper nerf, they are still as usable, the spread is stupidly small, get over it.

Totally understand where you're coming from, especially as a sniper main myself. But the way they handled the hipfire nerf seems unfair since it only applies to the free snipers, while the paid weapons like the Barrett didn’t get touched. I get that snipers shouldn’t dominate every range, but if paid weapons still have a tight hipfire spread, it risks creating a p2w imbalance. This could end up pushing players away, especially the f2w ones.

Yes exactly! The game has now a 'balanced PvP' with all guns serving their intended use. ARs for assualt and raid purpose and snipers for sniping instead of being used as a literal slug shotgun, no scope spam at 200+ studs. It's literally fundamental rework on how a sniper must work aka having crazy hipfire spread but laser accuracy on scope!

I agree. ARs, SMGs and Shotguns exist in the game for a reason. The sniper meta had the game completely inclined towards Sniper Combat only. Snipers being used as a literal shotgun at close range even, at mid wars and everywhere it was just snipers and more snipers with the laser accuracy which is absurd on a sniper rifle. People who use snipers still don't realise they can use their 'right mouse button' and something called quickscopes exists Whining about it doesn't work, rather adapt and learn 👍

I think this was a W update with everything considered, we got a much need ABX buff, a new unique thank that's actually fun, an A-10 buff and quite a few other things. The fact that they added the increased hipfire on snipers was a good choice of stoping the Riot Shield+Sniper combo, although I do agree that they may have increased it a bit too much as now you are pretty much required to ADS to land a shot, however that can be very easilly added in the next update
