My problem is the real world can never be replicated - there are microcosmic details in all things that give us a sense of wholeness. VR has a place, but we should proceed with caution with more research of how it affects mental health before distributing it to the masses .. I felt super disassociated after my first go with a meta quest 3, and started feeling like I was still in VR after taking the headset off. Thanks for the video by the way! Great work.

This is exactly what happened to me I was soo excited to try vr for the first time but after I tried it I did not feel good about it, but sometime I really want this to be a thing soo I can live my fantasy.. thank you for the kind comment I know this is not the best video I'm still learning 🤜

That's called depersonalization/disassociation

VR is not dead, rather the technology of it will power AR. Once AR technology is a packaged the size of a pair of sunglasses, then we will see the fruits of VR labor.

Thanks for the info hope we see that soon

The only problem with VR is the price.
@TrendsSurfingАй бұрын
For me the price + dizziness
@j.d.c.777Ай бұрын
price isn't the issue. A VR set (Quest 3) is the same price as a PS5. The games are much cheaper, and there's no subscription service fee unlike on consoles. Biggest thing holding it back are actual big games, like RPG's with huge maps. Rockstar or someone else should make a GTA-like game in VR. The current titles are all so short/small for the most part. I think the 2030's will be when VR/AR really takes off as chips become exponentially more powerful.

The problem with VR is the price, massive troublesome cons that you have to pay tons of money to fix. And the resolution, fov is really bad and the screeb N is not clear enough.

VR is still in the public beta testing stage of development. It hasn’t risen yet. It certainly has not fallen yet, and is unlikely to do so.
@TrendsSurfingАй бұрын
We need more use case for it, because gaming is not fun with VR
@parzivalvolarus9281Ай бұрын
@@TrendsSurfing Gaming is a novelty on VR right now. There are certainly fun titles, but not many. Once the technology matures and stabilizes, there will be more developer interest. For now, and the near future - it will mostly be tech demos. Other current uses. They are excellent mobile tv screens / monitors. If you travel a lot, you can have a theatre sized screen to watch your tv or play your games on anywhere you go.

VR isn't dead. It's only growing bigger from what I see. More will hop on board as previous generations become cheaper and as new tech releases making it more enticing than PC or console

@@j.d.c.777 as long as there are infinite sequels to blade and sorcery, vr will never die
