we have a local comedian called Paul smith who has made an absolute fortune selling out tours and the majority of people come to watch his crowd work, crowd work is in itself an art and perfect for building a brand especially on social media in todays TikTok and Instagram reel society, One liners and crowd work are the best for this type of engagement and aspects i want to incorporate the most.

It's an easy way to get clicks, but is it bad for comedy? Yes. It encourages the crowd to "participate" in your set, whether you want that or not, because they've seen all these crowd work videos.
