poor girl didn’t cry talking about her mother leaving, being abused, being molested, but she started crying when she talked about her grandpa dying. its evident how much she loved him and i’m glad she had at least one person on her side looking out for her.

Your comment got me in the feels 🥺😞💔 My sisters and I were in a slightly similar situation and we also had our grandpa there. We were being abused while my grandpa was out and about and, if he was alive, he had no idea anything was going on. We were afraid of the repercussions of an official telling this family member because he could get scary 😰 My grandpa passed in 2001 but I left the apartment in 1999.

So many people need help, and don’t deserve to be in such need. A lot of people hide their feelings, but they have feelings just like this. Where they’re at, if people see you cry and pour your heart out, it’s about to get used for someone else’s gain, and their loss. I do admire her vulnerability, though! It’s hard to get back, once you’ve learned it gets you hurt. There are people who really don’t care, though, and just manipulate and use people and expect things. When you’re around people like that, it’s hard to tell one from the other…for a reason!

Hey Melissa- everyone’s pain is relative. We all go through it, and it’s just as valid as the next persons’s pain. You’ve been through so much trauma - losing your mom, being molested, losing your beloved grandpa three days before giving birth, and then kicked out by your aunt. Almost dying at the hands of an abusive POS, the doctor and nurses treating you less than human …. And not having your five kids. Please please recognize that you have survived SO much and have the grit and stamina t do so much more … clean. If you can survive all that, you can survive sickness and cravings. You have so much more to give the world - you even said it yourself - so please don’t give up on you. First step, get clean. And then get stable housing. One thing at a time. Best of luck and sending you so much love. ❤

“I saw someone who was murdered, but really cut up murdered. “. No worries…you had me at murdered! Yeah, on the blade, I saw a red heel outside the dumpster, and another one hooked over top of the dumpster, and a slip girls would wear as skirts. I couldn’t look in the dumpster, but I found a woman dead, later in the game, anyway. I get her 💯! I knew it was just the same crazy trick that just had me in his car until I made him worried he could get pulled over if he didn’t stop at the light, and I jumped out, cause I saw the body in his car. I smelled it first & my hair stood up on my neck, and then I knew why his hair was standing up like that. I actually called the police, but they just laughed at me because they knew who I was. They asked what drugs I was doing, but I actually didn’t do drugs at all, in those years. It does make you realize you could just disappear and it wouldn’t matter to anyone. If something happened to her, it would matter to me, though, even though I don’t know her. I’m sure that trick got away with it.

Emotional abandonment is worse because the parent is actually present but you know you will get absolutely nothing out of them. As you mature you realize, "Wait this person just doing things. There's nothing behind it. No happiness, concern. It's all... Robotic... Just protocol" If thy6 are gone then they are gone completely, it hurts but at least you don't have their presence to remind you of the deficiency you will always have. With a full abandonment you can accept the reality better but emotional it's always knawing st your heart.

Melissa, my heart breaks for all the loss and trauma you’ve endured. You can make it through the trauma and heal even if it feels impossible and overwhelming. I see your strength and beauty as a soul. Be true to yourself even if multiple humans have let you down. We are Light. We are Love. We are eternal consciousness. We are not our story. We are loved infinitely.

She seems the most honest woman you’ve ever interviewed. I’m so sick of the women using you, Mark, to gain notoriety through OnlyFans, etc. It’s very nice to see a TRUE story and a good person. I wish this beautiful woman the best life out there!!!!

What chance did she have without her mother showing her how to be a good mother, but instead, her mother is probably repeating learnt behaviours from her mother and so on. I've got a similar story, but I walked away at age 19, also when I was pregnant. I've still got an addiction to cigarettes. The grandfather lost his mother. The grandfather lost his wife and his kids lost their mother. Melisas kids have lost her as a mother. Theme's past down the line. When I did my family tree and researched my ancestors the same themes and hardships were in their lives as my life. It's about breaking the loop. Which is dam hard. Especially if you are stuck in unresolved traumas. Good luck Melissa, I truly hope you find peace. Traumas trauma it all has the same effect. Be nice to yourself 🤞❤️ Give yourself the help you deserve it.

Where was her love when she had 5 children, 3 who had to have been born addicted to drugs, were removed from her "care"? Nothing about working to support them, but rather expecting support from family and blaming them for evicting her. It still isn't too late to seek substance abuse treatment, and get a FULL-TIME job to support herself.

'Mam, whoever told you that you "haven't been through much" is wrong. You have an incredible outlook on life, due to your Grandfather (may God rest his soul) and the example he set of *true* hardship. It certainly gave you a positive perspective on life, and that can go far. However, you shouldn't be gaslit into thinking you haven't been through horrible, traumatic events. You *deserve* to grieve, cry, and scream with anger. You deserve help. I wish you the best, truly, and PLEASE keep up the good fight!

Mark, I hope you know how important the work you are doing is! You have a marvelous ability to earn the trust of your subjects with your caring, non-judgmental demeanor. I like to imagine a world where your attitude is the predominant one, and these marginalized folks are no longer considered "other", but also God's children, just like the rest of us. Bless you, my friend.
