We as humans are more like lions. We are carnivores. We can eat some plants and grains from time to time but we should mostly be eating meat and high fat. Infertility is a common symptom of not eating the right way.

In all the confusion about what we should eat I came to the conclusion that I should eat like I'm in the wild ...very little carbs ,little bit of berries, as much meat as I can catch.

I have been on this journey to health for more than a decade and find it to be a very spiritual endeavor! Starting with lower carb then moving to keto 5 years ago and now Carnivore for the last year....just like my Faith... the more I seek the more I FIND! All my pain and inflammatory issues have disappeared and it appears that my aging has not just stopped but actually reversed! The Meat Tribe Community is exploding across the Earth :)

Whoa. That's insane. I'm on the fence. I want to try it. Just a little scared. I am afraid of developing dementia and heart disease (and atherosclerosis). So many of these testimonials are starting to switch my thinking. I wish there was scientific research on all this stuff. I'm in my 70's and would hate to compromise my health at this stage of the game.

Poetry! Your message is amazing. Thank you for your gentle, honest, wisdom. I hope some day to get my very sick family members to listen. My vegan family member some how got pregnant at 42, husband 52. Yikes! Raising a vegan child. Child is seeming “normal” but super shy, can’t sleep, won’t eat anything but French fries and ice cream. Yet I am the heathen who eats meat. Please keep up your good work.

I've only been on a carnivore lifestyle for 8 days and have lost 3lbs. I no longer take 2 naps a day at 50 years of age (male). I only eat 3 time a day (Meat, eggs, steak, proscuitto, raw tuna, and salmon with mayo). I feel great and no longer snore. I used to eat every 2 hours with carbs and fast food. No more. I use hydrating drink powders to get through the hot days in Florida. No more veggies. I used to poop spastically 5 times a day on a veggie dominated diet. No more onions, and raw veggies. Only meats!

Wish someone would send me an encouraging word or tell me they're experiencing what I'm experiencing. I'm a 76 year old woman with a degree in naturopathy with studies in nutrition but now feel completely lied to and deceived after decades of eating what I thought was healthy. Long story short, I had terrible results from recent blood work so started watching videos to find answers. I chose to eat carnivore, cold turkey from carbs, like 5 weeks ago (11/23). I am now in constant, excruciating pain and learned its oxalate dumping. I've had unhealthy thoughts of how I would take my life if I decided to which I've never had. It's just discouraging and scary what my body is going through...once again, thinking I'm doing the right thing. Sally Norton has helped...but she says it could take years to heal. Why am I doing this at my age? Because once you know Truth, you can't go back, can you! I haven't heard ANYONE in the carnivore interview videos talk about oxalate dumping except Sally. Has ANYONE experienced what I'm experiencing and if so, can you throw me an encouraging word!!!???
@barblacy619

I, too am an oxalate dumper. I am 69 and ate plant based for 36!years. When I quit dairy and meat to go more paleo (Dr Joel Fuhrman the FOOL) I cracked teeth, had blood in my urine and severe joint pain. I had skin tags like cauliflower between my breasts and a fatty liver. 3 years later, 40 pounds lighter -lost during first 6 months but maintained ever since, I have resolved most issues but occasionally pass eye styes and crystals from my nose. Joint pain in my thumb will return intermittently. Do you have Sally K Norton’s book?? You must gradually transition out of oxalates not quit cold turkey. I accidentally tapered because I found Dr Ken Berry, went clean keto, then ketovore and still allow myself days of 10-20 grams of carbs a day. Dairy can inflame some folks.. I occasionally add back olives s an oxalate source to slow my dumps. Sally recommended black tea not my beverage of choice. Judy Cho is a good resource too. I had felt so good when I dumped it alarmed me until I read her book. Best wishes on your journey to optimum health. Don’t give up. If I were you I’d join Sally’s group.

I have Oxalate poisoning from eating vegan and drinking my raw superfood smoothies, I cannot even use spices without feeling sick and experiencing pain, Sally recommends extracts. I am in my second year eating the carnivore ketogenic way, Sally K Norton helped me understand why I have red blood spots and white spots on my arms, I was having pain in my back on my left side which is gone, gritty eyes, I still have some brain fog and my energy level is still not where it should be, I am finally sleeping at night which is a huge improvement. Increasing butter intake with my meat is a big improvement cholesterol is so important to improving our health, I experienced Myelination restoring my balance and my hands stopped shaking. Our hormones are made from cholesterol our brain is 70% cholesterol 20% DHA 10% EDA, our nervous system requires cholesterol to insulate and protect our nerves. Dr Anthony Chaffee recommends watching Cambridge Ideas/Don’t Eat the Plants. They are the oldest life form and make a million chemicals protecting themselves from being eaten. I can use vinegar Lime Lemon and Key Lime fresh squeezed only, the ingredient citric acid is made from black mold. I keep fresh squeezed in small mason jars in the freezer. Steak and Butter Gal went through it and talks about it.

I did the Keto for about a year with amazing results. All the benefits I hear from the carnivore diet I had them with the Keto diet. This being said Keto is not sustainable because you do get hungry and there is simply not enough protein recommended in that diet. My solution and understanding of both diets now is that the real culprits are naturally the sugar and the carbs not the greens you take to accompany your meat. Nature invented flora and fauna way before humans being appeared on the planet in order to feed human being later in it's evolution. Like on Keto , on the carnivore diet you get into ketosis and this is the magic behind the scenes. That and intermittent fasting. Thank you Dr.Kiltz

Great information and true to the core. Being diabetic, I have to eat in order stabilize blood sugar. Which means small frequent meal. Without a gallbladder I am not supposed to have high fat, because bile escapes into my small intestine. With celiac sprue, I cannot have bile salts. I have been inquiring for help and the doctors haven't a clue. My weight stays low at 100#. I have also been trying to get an answer from all the keto diet utube hosts to no avail. I was informed to eat dry beans for bile absorption. I work outdoors landscaping so I have to mix proteins in order to keep from crashing with blood sugar. Thank you for sharing and listening. God bless America, the land we dearly love!

I eat like a lion and love it. At the glorious age of seventy-two, in no pain anywhere and living a comfortable life, I fully expect to to live a long life yet. Lions don't run around and exercise to keep fit. They eat and get lazy enough to have sex with their parteners. Then they can play with the kids. The only time they exercise is to feed.

So, what If the key factor in eating carnivore was the fact that you are not eating so much? Not just because of calorie deficit (important!) but because your digestive system gets a break? Put another way, we are killing ourselves because our digestive system is overworked, exhausted, broken down.

Very moving & passionate message. I'm fully on board with a diet 'dominant' in animal based products (e.g. fatty grass fed meats, grass fed butter/cheeses & raw milk). Having said that, I still can't wrap my mind around the concept that green leafy veggies, some fruits, juicing, some fatty nuts & seeds have 'little to nothing' to offer in terms of promoting optimal health & wellness. Juicing practices are well-known for detoxing the body & promoting optimal health. The 'Gerson Therapy' is famous for helping millions of folk around the world to reverse chronic illnesses & promote health & wellness - primarily with juicing & plant based diets. In the 'Blue Zone' areas (populations with highest # of centenarians), their diet is primarily plant based. There is a 'Blue Zone community here in the states (Loma, Linda, CA) Majority are 7th-Day Adventists. Their 'biblical' diet is primarily plant based. Processed sugar is taboo for them. Bottom line: It's hard for me to reconcile that fruits, veggies, some grains & legumes & nuts have no 'major' role to play in human health. Hence, I feel a more 'balance' approach works better for me (e.g. 70-80% animal based, 20-30% fruits ,veggies, legumes & nuts) Example of that balanced approach is the "Weston A Price" diet that you wrote a great article on. I'm down with that. I'm also 'down' with Dr Kiltz's Ice Cream too. Yummy :)

Hunters gatherers we are. If we wouldn't survive on nuts fruits or veggies we would have never survived until this era. Vit D plays a major role in sugar processing though. So depending on the season we would be allowed to eat natural sugars without any issues. Simple. Today we try to eat like kings, all powerful kings served with everything at once but truly we are slaves to our own desires, dying like beggars.

No change in my wieght or minor pustular rosacea from Carnivore. I eat only animal muscle meats, organs meats, eggs, butter and some small amounts of hard cheese. Realize I'm frustrated by no movement in weight loss or Rosacea improvement after 30+ days on carniovore, and instead a gain of weight, unseen by me on any other weight loss program, you'd think I'd have lost water weight at a minimum. My clothes have become more tight not more loose. I feel it needs admitting and has been in a round-about-way, by the advocation of fasting that a calorie deficiet is required for weight loss, realizing fasting brings other benefits, too. Whether it is by eating a low fat diet, high fat diet or something inbetween, moderation is still the key, you cannot just eat all you want of the allowed foods. Health benefits of your diet choice not with standing I will agree that eating carnivore is the best for healthly lifestyle. Blood work in a week. I'm curious to see if my KETO cholesterol norm 240 is elevated much higher due to the fat intake and lipid blood levels< circulating fat. Now people are saying you are eating too much protien, not drinking enough water, not eating enough fat, who at first said eat all you want, and have said carinivore is a simple diet due to the restrictive food type allowed. It seems like all these advocates are making excuses because they do not have answers. I am continuing this diet for 90 days. I do not drink alcohol. I have also continued to be hungry on carnivore, < which possibly notes I'm eating too much protien which is being converted to sugar and my insulin is spiking and making me hungry indicating my glycemic index is not level. Unlike KETO staying under 20 net carbs per day, after fat adaption, about 2 weeks on Keto, my hunger was gone. Now they tell me to make it more complicated by buying a glucose monitor to regulate my intake. I'd like someone to explain how it is possible to burn your own body fat while consuming high amounts of fat which your body will burn first for the production of ketones to fuel your body. Sounds conterproductive to me. Much like eating too much sugar or carb laden food, your body stores the extra/fat energy not burned. I believe carnivore is the same. The extra fat is stored. With all that being said, I also feel awesome health wise, joint inflamation not present, look younger, and sleep well.

Actually meats are cheaper in the long run. Think about all the meds you don’t need to buy and wait in pharmacy lines for/ or doctors visits for, and no more sickness and hours waiting at doctors office for that too! Surgeries no more, no more meds for that either. Carnivore diet is way cheaper! ☺️👍🏻

Enjoy your message. I try and listen or watch your videos to include your videos on your daily meals. I discovered for the common man it would be impossible to eat like you:) Snake River Steaks and Hudson Bay where you get your food is absurdly expensive. I also realize you probably get free meat and Duck Liver for promoting there products, which is of course OK. More power to you, but just who are you trying to reach:)
@stevencraig521
@stevencraig521 2 жыл бұрын
He obviously doesn’t expect all of us to eat Snake River and Hudson Bay products specifically. You can eat 2-3 pounds of ground beef and a dozen eggs daily for $10-$15/ day. Veggies aren’t expensive? How much money is wasted throwing half of them out? Don’t eat carnivore... And you’ll likely spend that money on prescriptions! It’s your choice! Good luck!

I'm new in this way of eating and not having the same success as everyone. 2 months of carnivore not losing weight, knees pain, back pain, low energy, low libido. I did keto for 4 years and lose 50 pounds than I started eating "normal" I gained 30 pounds. I am 50 years old my period stopped for 2 years almost than came back. I want to be healthy, free pain 😢. I'm not losing weight instead I am gaining weight maybe I am eating too much fat but I don't think so. Any advice is appreciated. Maybe this is not for me.

Have you cut out vegetable/seed oils and are you trying to eat grass fed butter (other fats), meat and organs? It’s hard to always be able to afford grass fed but if you’re eating conventionally raised cattle and their biproducts, then that may be contributing to weight gain. Also, you may want to try fasting for 48 to 72 hours beforehand (as long as you get medical advice that you can in fact fast safely) to jumpstart your body burning fat and then move into the diet.
