Aaron Hayden yea you still have to make an account and when you do it always asks for a payment method. Whether that’s monthly or yearly. So you can’t access the episodes without paying

Hey Freiburger... The Pontiac GTO was the Motor Trend Car of the Year in 1968. The Road Runner was CotY in `1969. I can't comment on Motor Trend on Demand, because they haven't figured that out yet.

On this episode of Roadkill we're going to: 1. Find an old 70's car that hasn't run in 30 years. 2. Pay the seller's asking price for it on site without negotiating. 3. Go to the local auto parts store and buy a new set of hand tools, jack, stands, fluids, and a holley carb. 4. Have to overnight brake parts to replace a master that's frozen. 5. Put a gas can in the trunk for a fuel tank and install an electric fuel pump. 6. Attempt a small burnout. 7. Drive it to the tire shop to put a new set of tires on it. 8. Drive it a few miles on the highway only to find it's a POS. 9. Reminisce about how memorable an experience it was fixing and driving it. 10. Park it in a storage lot somewhere, partially covered by a tarp, only to let it rot and never to be seen again. Yet I still keep watching and waiting for the next episode. Roadkill...wasting good gas on bad cars.

I did the same thing to my first nice car... 2005 Legacy GT turbo 5mt... wrapped it around a tree and bent it in half literally. Saddest night of my life. Then watched it get picked apart at the lot after insurance paid me out.. motor was freshly built

I once drove a Primera with an broken lower rear control arm, I used a ratched strap to keep it together, it was, well, "unsafe at any speed" would fit it I guess, pretty wonky to drive.. Especially when I had to reverse, since then the strap loosened up a bit... I welded the control arm back together, and it worked fine actually, except I should have been a bit more accurate with the toe-in... It squealed from the tire sometimes in turns.. After I welded it I really "tested it" to see if it would hold up, and it was probably more solid than new.. And for your information, with the strap, I just drove very slow on backroads just to get it to the garage. The car was junked very shortly thereafter.

Motor Trend's parent company sold to Discovery instead. Now the Velocity Channel is Motor Trend Network. Those that live in the US can still watch a free episode every 4 weeks, they just have to watch it on Motor Trend's website, or mobile app, instead of KZbin.

I'm fine with moving to a new platform (even though it's got an ad every 5 min), I'm fine with episodes being locked for the duration of the season, but I'm not fine with season 7 episodes being locked (probably forever) even though season 8 has started. Sure Roadkill is still free it's just only for a few weeks. I'm gonna miss watching this show and dirt every day and hotrod garage.
