The number of electronic components inside this thing is incredible.

Don't be fooled by the erased marking on buttons. That only means that the deck was powered off/on very often (and that's good) and that many many tapes have been inserted. That means that the deck was not playing long shift. I serviced hundreds of Dragon and the worst thing is by far "classical" guys. They throw a tape in, play it both sides and insert another, play both sides again and so on. So, they don't use buttons very often, but the heads (unavailable) wear completed. So, a deck with used buttons is not very indicative of the deck's health.

Nakamichi Dragon is off my list! It looks like its to hard to fix and I heard it can break to offend? Plus it had a rotating Head.
