There’s a short story on the Dragon Prince website called Changing the Guard, which shows Soren asking Corvus to join the crown guard. It’s really sweet, since Corvus mainly joins because he knows it would mean a lot to Soren after he lost his family.

Important warrior, no big deal... i was wondering if, oh you are walking away? Thats cool, i was just on my way anyway too, no biggy. Both speaking from my expectations and based on 23 years of watching cartoons. But also on their characters. Besides... since they escaped together in season 3, i was really hoping that corvus and Opeli would have found that kind of chill relationship where he waits outside the room, for her to finish her meeting, and then pulls out a single rose from behind his back and escorts her to whatever she is doing next, before inviting her to dinner.
