That was simply the best clip of what NZ can offer . Stunning scenery and the adventure of seeing it.

This was an amazing trip and it’s really cool we can show others. Hopefully it can inspire and entertain people.
You should come and do this route if you get the chance. Incredible landscapes so much fun! Yeah it was Victoria’s favourite trip mine too I think. Pretty hard work at times but worth it

Thanks guys brought back a lot of memories. Beautiful Cobb Valley. We went the opposite way to you. I remember going down the Ridge line to Lonely Lake Hut arriving in the dark leaving in fog (who knew it had such a nice view 🤣) , backing out of doing the Dragons Teeth due to the weather, off-track bush bash down to the Anatoki stream and up to Adelaide Tarn then onto Boulder Lake hut the next day. Quite an epic tramp 😊

It’s an awesome route to take with spectacular views and some pretty big days. Im glad that you enjoyed the video. I think I will be doing this trip again sometime. Maybe head up the anatoki to Adelaide tarn

You guys have a great sense of humour, including the face pulling. This was a really fun video to watch, as well as being spectacular with the drone footage you included. I notice that you don't seem to have any drone footage in your recent camps. What a shame as the scenic views from above are awesome. I know this was from almost 2 years ago but it was great entertainment. Thanks so much for sharing your hiking adventure.

Your ascent is, after all, in the deepest jungle. Is it always like this in New Zealand? You didn't choose the best weather. But it has its own atmosphere in the landscape when it rains. The next day was all the more beautiful for it. Your bath at the waterfall was very refreshing. Super sunrise. A great video of your mountain hike. I gladly left a like and subscribed right away. Greetings from the Tyrolean Alps Andy

Nz bush can be rather dense and it’s rough. As for the weather that time of year isn’t the most settled and we pre organised the trip so we committed to going. Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed the vid.

One of the great Nelson tramping experiences. Your group effort video gives a realistic impression of the efforts required for the route. Another is climbing Mt Richmond from Roebuck Hut. You can turn it into a loop coming down the long ridge from the top of Grass Knob. Look forward to seeing that.

Thanks for the info. We will do mt Richmond at some point

I wept thru this video. Such a well made n fun vid. Thank you. I visited Loney Lake in March 1997, an epic 28 day adventure (no food drops) based from the Tablelands. Wow- I'm speechless. One day I'll visit again away from the goannas, roos, cookies n koalas.... ❤❤. I miss tramping. ❤❤❤❤

Thanks to DOC and the volunteers of the Backcountry Trust for upgrading Lonely Lake Hut. This was a decent report with good photography. Its a very tough tramp involving many 8-10 hour days over untracked rugged mountainous country with potential sudden weather changes. Popular and beautiful doesn't make it easy.

Yeah lonely lake hut was looking great. The ridge line from lonely lake to Cobb valley really exposed. Always got to be careful out there

wow! that's really amazing adventure, thanks for sharing - really boost up starting my hiking hobby - inspirational video. This must be the place where you can feel mother's earth electromagnetic frequency the 7.83 Hz which is a healing frequency. I wanna go hiking out in the woods to experience it, I live in the big city in China - the manufacturing hub of the world where RF pollutant (radio frequencies) override our mother's earth natural healing frequency. Cheers!

On this trip we had to take 6 days of food so it was pretty heavy. I also took all of the components of the tent. I think my pack was 18.5 kg on the first day. Unsure of that included my water or not

why do you rotate tires, i never have rotated mine. i feel that thy you get a better idea of how they are wearing so you can see if they need an alignment you can replace in pairs my isuzu is 8 years i have only had to replace one set of tires because they all got staked at around 50,000 klm while working on a property where there had a lot of sapling had been slashed leaving a massive number of 6inch stakes and now i am up to 165,000 klms and the tires still have 8mm of tread left. i measure tread debth on a regular and i found that the optum debth is about 8-10psm lower than the tyre service fellows say.
