Stabbing Westward got me through so many rough and painful days when I was younger. I was completely unaware that Chris and Walter were still making music. I think I've found a new favorite band

Chris, you are one of the best vocalists in this world and I've been privileged to grow up with your music of which in my 30's I still find myself pushing onto others just as I did in my teenage years as kids tend to do with one another.

I shared a rehearsal space with Christopher in downtown LA, and I gave him a suit that was previously owned by Peter Gabriel. And in regards to Marilyn Manson, I was in their video for Coma White and I previously directed two music videos featuring former keyboardist Madonna Wayne Gacy for a project that he was featured on with his brother for his band called sickWILLY...Check out the song Break You Down. But Hell Yeah man, I'm a mid to late 90's industrial metal fan. NIN, Manson, White Zombie, Tool, Stabbing Westward, Type O Negative etc.

Put on a set of headphones and listen to all their albums. They are much better than the band I knew in the late 90s (Stabbing Westward). Don't get me wrong, SW was a great young band, but this is grown up music. I didn't even find The Dreaming until 2019 and I have more play time on TD than any other band over the last 10 years.
@danielsart11 ай бұрын
In the same boat here, just now going through all of The Dreaming stuff, so many great songs that really deserved more exposure. That new Stabbing Westward album is incredible. It’s crazy to me how they are getting progressively better with every new thing as that seems pretty rare for rock musicians this late in the game.

cascadehopsrule They're fucking awesome live. Chris said on stage that Rise Again is the album that should have followed Darkest Days. Personally I actually really like Puppet and Etched in Blood is growing on me more and more I give it a chance, but that's what he said, likely due to Walter coming back last year, if I had to guess. They were awesome to meet in person and just hang with and have a few drinks.

EDarien - Etched in Blood (probably my fave) - Puppet - Rise Again That's all that appears on Spotify.
@EDarien9 жыл бұрын
wyldeminded Oh, you mean the Dreaming albums. Ok, sorry, my mistake. I think David meant the Stabbing Westward albums. Those are hard to get with even very limited availability on Amazon. I attribute it partially to the falling out of the band with their manager/record company. At the show I went to recently, Chris was saying how some of the stuff you could buy from them would go toward them paying back their old label.
