No this was the original Drinkards with just the siblings , before dionne and dee dee were even of proper age to be in a group

I just thought about something really depressing. The way black people express themselves vocally in these old gospel songs and early R&B, funk, soul, and blues is basically a direct offshoot of the spirituals that slaves used to sing. Pretty soon, it will be extinct for good because we have nobody to pass it on except for those in the church....
